After a lengthy search, the little boy who was photographed a week ago wearing a Lionel Messi shirt made out of plastic bag (Read the story here) has been found. The 5 year-old lad, Murtaza Ahmadi was seen in Jaghori, south-west of Kabul, Afghanistan. The Barcelona star’s team have been trying to get in touch with the boy so they can provide him with a kit but all was to no avail.
His father, Arif Ahmadi who posted the images on facebook told CNN his son is a big fan of the Argentinean.
“When he suddenly wakes up in the middle of the night, he starts crying that he wants to go to Messi,” he said
Then he asked him to provide him a Messi jersey.
“I told him that we were living in a poor village far from the city and it was impossible for me to get him the shirt,” Ahmadi added.
“He kept crying for days asking for the shirt until his brother Hamayon helped him make one from the plastic bag to make him happy.
“He stopped crying after wearing that plastic bag shirt.2”
