Kogi State Governnent has declared 7 days mourning for the late All Progressive Congress (APC) Gubernatorial candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu who died in the early hours of today.

The 2-time Governor of the state reportedly complained of stomach ache on Saturday night before breathing his last on Sunday morning. He was said to have died of stroke.Prior to his shocking death, he was leading his contender Idris Wada with over 41,000 votes in the governorship election in the state.

He was aged 68.

 He would be buried on Monday morning.
