Come March 27,African Football legend, Kanu Nwankwo will host a 7-aside tournament for players from 40 years of age and above. Scheduled to take place at the Nwankwo Kanu Sports Centre in Owerri, the sporting event will run through the Easter holidays.

Adducing reasons for organising the match, the gold medal-winning player said it ” is going to be a tournament to keep 40-years-old football fans  fit and healthy. It will create platform for bonding and educate the old ones about health issues and need for continuous exercises.”
