Talented actor, Joseph Benjamin has been awarded the African actor of the year at the just-concluded 17th African Film Awards (aka Afro-Hollywood Awards).

Held yesterday Nov 3 at Stratford Town Hall, London; the event which attracted British African stars, producers and investors saw the model cum presenter edge out Ghana's Van Vicker and South Africa's Jafta Mamabolo to claim the highly-coveted prize.

Joseph has continued to build his brand on the big screen and has recorded good success in a short time.
