The edifice takes up residence on a not-too-broad expanse of land at Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. Unveiled by the incumbent Governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Fashola yesterday 29th September 2013, the Intercontinental Lagos believed to be the tallest hotel in West Africa reportedly gulped N30 billion.
Designed by a Nigerian architect, Bayo
Odunlami. The 5-star hotel contains 23-storey building, it also features 358 rooms, 37 suites and a Presidential suite. The Intercontinental Lagos, a subsidiary of the Intercontinental Hotel Group, IHG, is owned by the Milan Group.
