Barely two weeks after they were proudly ushered into the next movie star house, four out of the regular 16 contestants were shocked to the wits in the early hours of 9th November 2011 as their names were announced for eviction.
The four; Alexandra Ehigozie, French graduate of Ambrose Alli University; Delta-state born Goodnews Amar, 23 year-old Oguejiofor Kimberly and Ogunrinola Funmilayo a 400 level Mass Communication undergraduate didn't meet up to the certain expectations in the house and thus were led out of the house.
Speaking on the criteria for eviction, Sola Fajobi, Next Movie Star boss disclosed that the contestants were rated low based on verdicts from judges and viewers as well as their lifestyle in the house.
"This year's competition has been very tough. All the housemates have strong qualities, eviction is normal and the show has to continue". He added.
In its seventh edition and aired on major television station across the country, the 2011 edition themed "Galaxy of Stars" would spread its reach all over Africa, selecting housemates from all the different regions of Africa and broadcasting to these countries.
