The falconets have advanced to the next stage of the 2016 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers after subjecting Liberia to an humiliating 14-1 two-leg defeat. Peter Dedevbo’s led team completed the onslaught in Abuja on Saturday by handing Liberia another 7-0 whitewash after having secured a first leg 7-1 victory.
Goals from Chinaza Uchendu, Amarachi Orjinma, Aminat Yakubu, Yetunde Adeboyejo and Joy Bokiri gave the falconets an easy victory. They now await the winner of the game between Namibia and DR Congo to know their next opponent in the third round of the qualifiers.
