Such a lengthy ban! I'm sure no one was really expecting it. Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has been banned for 10 games by the Football Association for biting Chelsea defender, Branislav Ivanovic during a match between his Liverpool club and Chelsea on Sunday.
The 26-year-old who later apologised for the shameful act has until midday on Friday 26 April to appeal against the suspension.
But sadly, it's not the first time he would be charged with such an offence. In Nov 2010 at Ajax, he was banned for seven games after biting PSV Eindhoven midfielder Otman Bakkal's shoulder.
At Liverpool, the Uruguay international who's shortlisted for the Professional Footballers' Association player of the year award was banned for 8 matches and fined for £40,000.
