The Ethiopian Government have announced their plans to build a $4 billion international airport capable of handling up to 120 million passengers a year.
The airport which should be ready in 10 years time will be not only be Africa’s biggest airport but would be one of the largest in the world.
Wondim Teklu, a spokesman for Ethiopian Airports Enterprise disclosed that “The new airport will be a hub for the whole of Africa, not only for Ethiopia.”
