ENTER FOR AFRICA'S BIGGEST MALE MODEL SEARCH, 'MODEL OF AFRICA 2012'

The second edition of the biggest male model search in Africa, Model of Africa has been billed to hold on October 14, at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos. Organized by Xa! Enterprises; the show will be anchored by Big Brother Africa winner, Uti Nwachukwu & leading African model Zainab Balogun. The competition will find 20 outstanding male models from across Africa coming to compete for the grand title – Model of Africa 2012. The winner of the Model of Africa Nigeria will be representing Nigeria at the prestigious Mr. International contest scheduled to hold in Thailand on the 24th of November, 2012, while the overall winner of Model of Africa gets signed on to an international modeling contract, and shall become the new face of the Lagos Accessories Fair.
This year's edition of the competition will bring some of Africa's biggest designers and entertainment industry players together. Some of the designers billed to showcase include Tanzania's leading menswear brand Sheria Ngowi, celebrated designer and organiser of the Dakar Fashion Week, Adama Paris, other leading fashion brands such as David Wej, Mai Atafo, Revamped, MoS, Beazy, Award winning Accessories Designer Kamsi Tcharles, MOA designer of the year Maxivive and one of Africa's newest talent to watch out for Femy Toys.
Also as a high point of this year's event the Model of Africa Award shall be presented to leading African model Ajak Deng for career achievement and exemplary contributions through her charity works.
The top 20 contestants will be arriving in camp October 10, 2012 and will participate in exciting photo sessions, courtesy visits, press conference, charitable works, and a number of social and official outings. Date: 14th October 2012
