Former Nigerian international, Emmanuel Amuneke has been named coach of the Tanzania national team.  The 47 year-old who represented Nigeria at the 1994 World Cup signed a two-year contract.  He take over from erstwhile coach, Salum Mayanga, who was axed for dismal results.
Amuneke’s first outing will be against Uganda in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash on September 7, 2018. He will look to get the Taifa Stars’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign back on track.
