Top actor, Yemi Solade has debunked stories going rounds that he’s dumping his acting career for politics. We reported yesterday that he was vying for a seat at the House of Senate in Abuja, Nigeria in 2015 under the aegis of the All Progressive Congress (APC). The fair-skinned actor has however debunked the rumour. Below is a statement he made to Movie Moments.

“Honourable? How na? Do I have the energy for the politics of this country? It’s false ooh. Don’t mind the unserious individuals peddling the rumour, someone merely designed the poster for the fun of it and posted it on Facebook, only for it to go viral.”
