Sunderland manager, David Moyes has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association (FA) over his behaviour in Wednesday’s 1-0 EFL Cup fourth-round defeat at Southampton.
The former Manchester United boss was sent to the stands after contesting referee Chris Kavanagh’s decision not to award a penalty when Maya Yoshida appeared to have brought down Victor Anichebe in the 18 yard box. He was said to have sworn at fourth official James Adcock.
