Chelsea managerial target, Antonio Conte is to leave his post as Italy coach after Euro 2016 leaving him free to join the Blues. Carlo Tavecchio of the FIGC confirmed Conte has made it clear he will not be seeking to renew his contract after two years with the national team. Conte will leave the national team after the European Championship.” Tavecchio revealed.
Although Chelsea are yet to confirm his arrival, Conte himself hinted on his facebook page that he would be moving to the English Premier League side. “Right now our highest concentration is addressed solely European Championship where we will try with the work and sacrifice to make the most of our potential. Anyone who knows me knows that my commitment will be total. Then I feel I must go back to the coach in a club having the opportunity to train every day. Thanks to president Tavecchio who has accompanied me on a daily basis in this wonderful adventure.”
There are reports that he has signed a three-year contract already and has been given the go ahead to bring his assistants, Angelo Alessio and Massimo Carrera, with him to Stamford Bridge.
