The city of Abuja witnessed its largest ever wedding exhibition when WED Expo stormed the M & M Event Center from October 17th to 19th. With record breaking attendance and endless creativity from the booths of wedding vendors present, it was an event to remember.

The exhibition provided an awesome opportunity for vendors in the wedding and events industry to showcase their products and services to hundreds of brides, grooms and people planning weddings and other events. It was a beehive of fantastic designs, decor, beauty, photography, ideas and inspiration for every one planning an event. 
To add to it, the vendors offered lots of discounts and giveaways to the guests who were present. There were also lots of side attractions for the guests and couple’s games to lighten up the mood.

Family, friends, colleagues in attendance as veteran actress, Sola Sobowale's son weds.

Family, friends and colleagues gathered to celebrate with veteran actress, Sola Sobowale as her son, Oyeyemi Johnson Ajiboye walked his beautiful bride, Fidelia Ogoh Fidelis down the aisle last weekend. 

‎The church wedding took place at St Leo Catholic Church, Ikeja Lagos while the reception was held at NECA house, Alausa Ikeja.

Sapele stands still as African Sprints champion, Blessing Okagbare and ex-soccer star Igho Otegheri tie the knot. (photos)


It was indeed a celebration of love as multi-award winning track and field athlete, Blessing Okagbare and her beau, ex-soccer star, Jude Igho Otegheri got married in the traditional way at the ancient town of Sapele yesterday November 7, 2014.
The white wedding ceremony was held today at the St. Patrick Catholic church, Sapele. (would try and bring you pictures).



The gold-medallist had this to say about her man.


“I actually knew him before I left the shores of Nigeria. He is someone I knew through a friend and we were not really talking, but something happened and we got talking and that was it. I actually liked him as a friend before I left and we were talking as friends on the phone and I was not really surprised when he asked me out. But you know, I had to bid my time even though I was very happy that he asked me out. We are women; we need to do a bit of delay tactics before accepting proposals.

“He is someone I really want to be with because he is nice and God fearing. Those were some basic things I prayed for in a man. He is kind and that is a great thing for me because he supports my life, my career and my aspirations.



”I couldn’t say no because he has all what I prayed for in my ideal man. He is a very easy-going person and he does not see me as Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare, but as the woman he loves and I love it.”

What has now become an expectedly successful exhibition repeated itself again at the WED Expo Lagos October 2014 edition. For three days, Tafa Balewa Square, Lagos Island was a beehive of activities as over 100 exhibitors jointly showcased their products and services in the bumper edition tagged Mega 3 Expo.
From beauty, to fashion, photography, music and lot more, vendors at the just concluded WED Expo showcased their very best. The event was well attended by lots of brides, grooms, their families and event planners.
Lots of guests went home with huge discounts and giveaways. Not only that, deals and bookings for weddings and other future events were made, contacts were exchanged, and everyone went home happy.
It was a bevy of trends, style, inspiration and loads of great ideas for everyone.

The extravagant wedding of Joke & Azeez Ogedengbe which took place at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos last weekend remains one of the most beloved Nigerian weddings of all time. 
The major highlight of the wedding was the top-notch decor by Yvent Kouture which blew the minds of the over 1500 guests in attendance. The bride looked impeccably gorgeous in her Vera Wang ball gown and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Three months after his elder brother, Tomi Ashimolowo’s wedding; Tobi Ashimolowo, the second son of Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) had his traditional wedding with fiancee Toyin Omotayo at Romfod, Essex, UK yesterday. Their white wedding will hold on Saturday 18th October 2014 at the KICC Prayer City in Kent, UK.
