Ex FIFA President, Jack Warner handed lifelong ban from football.

The adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee of FIFA yesterday announced that it has banned former vice-president,  Jack Warner from football-related activity at both national and international levels for life
 ‎
//
“The former Caribbean federation president was found to have committed many and various acts of misconduct continuously and repeatedly during his time as an official in different high-ranking and influential positions at FIFA and CONCACAF” said the Ethics Committee statement.
//
“In his positions as a football official, he was a key player in schemes involving the offer, acceptance, and receipt of undisclosed and illegal payments, as well as other money-making schemes,” added the statement.
The 72-year-old is fighting extradition from Trinidad and  Tobago to the United States to face 12 charges of wire fraud, racketeering and money laundering related to the ongoing FIFA corruption scandal. He is also accused of buying the television rights to the 2010 and 2014 World Cup tournaments from FIFA president Sepp Blatter for grossly deflated sums. He faces a hearing in his homeland in December.

Cristiano Ronaldo becomes Real Madrid's all-time record scorer in La Liga.

//

Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo had an impressive outing today having scored  5 beautiful goals for Espanyol. And that wasn’t all, the Real Madrid goal-machine also booked a spot in the club’s record book by becoming its all-time record scorer in La Liga.

//

He’s surpassed Raul’s record of 228 goals in 550 games.  The ex Manchester United star has now netted 229 goals in 203 league appearances. He scored his first three goals in the first half and the last two at the second half.

De Gea and Manchester United in talks over a new deal

//
Manchester United and goalkeeper David De Gea have begun talks on a new contract to keep him at Old Trafford past this season. De Gea’s current deal expires in June, at which point he would be able to move to Real Madrid on a free transfer.
//
A proposed move to sell De Gea to Real failed after paperwork was submitted just minutes after the transfer window closed last week, ensuring the 24-year-old will stay with United at least until January.
//
Real were reported to have agreed to pay around €30 million to sign De Gea. But De Gea’s agent Jorge Mendes was seen attending Man United’s training complex on Thursday, with major media outlets reporting that talks are underway on a new deal. It was also widely reported in Spain that De Gea would commit to an extension, with Marca saying he will sign a five-year contract, worth €9m per season, which was the initial offer made to the goalkeeper earlier this year.

Earlier on Thursday, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez ruled out a deal for De Gea in January and suggested he expected the goalkeeper to sign a new contract at Manchester United.
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal had refused to play De Gea until the end of the transfer window, and the Premier League club still have not announced if he will start against Liverpool on Saturday.

To get Ronaldo, PSG have to pay £1Billion – Florentino Perez

Real Madrid have no intention of selling Cristiano Ronaldo for anything less than his €1 billion buyout clause, according to club president Florentino Perez. Ronaldo, 30, has been a reported target of Paris Saint- Germain in recent months, with El Mundo Deportivo reporting earlier this week that Madrid rejected a €150m bid from the French champions this summer for the Portugal captain.
Asked about PSG’s interest in Ronaldo, Perez said in an interview with Spanish radio station Cadena Cope:
“Here in Spain everybody has it easy because, unlike in England, a release clause exists. If you want to sign a player you pay his buyout clause and get him. “In the case of Cristiano it’s €1,000m [£725m]. If they don’t pay that, they don’t want him. Whenever I’ve wanted a player, I’ve gone for him paying the release clause.”
Ronaldo has three years left on his contract at the Bernabeu, and Perez says a Madrid team without the forward is out of the question.
“It’s just impossible,” he said. “He is our most emblematic player, the best player in the world. It doesn’t enter our mind to sell him. “Of course I like [Barcelona’s Lionel] Messi, but I prefer Cristiano Ronaldo a lot more.”

De Gea seeks club action after Spain appearance

David De Gea is hoping to return to the Manchester United side after featuring for Spain on international duty. De Gea, 24, remained at United after his proposed transfer to Real Madrid failed to be completed in time for last week’s transfer deadline. The goalkeeper had been expected to leave Old Trafford, leading to manager Louis van Gaal selecting summer signing Sergio Romero as his first-choice shot-stopper.
But De Gea, who has yet to play for the Red Devils this season, is eager to feature for United ahead of their Premier League meeting with Liverpool on Saturday.
He said: “I felt good. I was really longing to get back playing. I’ll keep working and let’s see if I have some luck with my club. “Yes I’m happy. I am relaxed about things and I will go on working hard and improving, and enjoying my football.”

Klopp not in a hurry to return to action, agent denies contact with any club

Jurgen Klopp has not had contact with any clubs and does not plan to return to management before next summer, his agent has told Die Welt. Klopp, who left Borussia Dortmund at the end of last season after seven years at the helm, said at the weekend that he was considering his options and his next job would not necessarily have to be with “an absolute top club.”
Earlier this summer, Klopp turned down an offer to join Marseille, while Ralf Rangnick, the sporting director and coach of second-tier club RB Leipzig, has publicly talked up his desire to appoint the 48-year-old next season should his side secure promotion. Klopp has also been touted as a contender to take charge at Bayern Munich when Pep Guardiola’s contract expires at the end of the season, while he continues to be linked with Liverpool amid lingering questions over Brendan Rodgers’ future at Anfield.

His agent, Marc Kosicke, said the coach “has not talked to other clubs” at this stage and, asked about a possible return date, added: “I think it will be the new season.”  Kosicke said Klopp is thoroughly enjoying his first break from the game since becoming Mainz boss in 2001.

“Jurgen is doing really great,” he said. “After nearly 15 consecutive years at Mainz and Dortmund, he now has time for retrospection, analysis and those things that get neglected or just can’t be done when you’re in the rhythm of taking part in Bundesliga and Champions League games.”

Kosicke said Klopp is now “preparing both physically and mentally for his new challenge,” adding: “He is bettering himself. But, for now, he enjoys the time he has as a private person.

“When he visited his mother in the past, he could only stay for two or three hours. He can stay for two or three days now. He leads an unspectacular life, and is thankful for this privilege.”

Klopp has not been to a stadium since taking charge of May’s DFB Pokal final, but Kosicke said he is following Dortmund on the television as they make a successful start to life under Thomas Tuchel.
“He every now and then is delighted by the performances of the team when he watches on the telly,” the agent said.
