Ibrahimovic's body movements is a disappointment- Owen

Despite netting the only goal in United’s victory over Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League last night, Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s performance has been criticised by former English footballer, Michael Owen.

He told BT Sport.
“His movement disappoints me a bit. He just stands a lot. Because of his height he gets away with it. There was no movement from him tonight. He just tends to stand at the back post and wait for the ball. There were a few crosses tonight and he stayed in the same position.”

Ronaldo's jet crashes in Barcelona

Cristiano Ronaldo’s £15 million Gulfstream G200 private jet which he purchased last year crash landed at the El Prat runway in Barcelona after landing gear broke away on impact leaving its undercarriage scratched and damaged. The pilot suffered minor injuries but others were unhurt.
It reportedly skidded off of the tarmac and came to a halt on the grass.

“The plane is normally rented by companies and it was in use by one of them. Cristiano Ronaldo, his family or friends were not on the plane. The incident had no major consequences.” A source close to the Bernabeu star disclosed.

How Sam Allardyce was brought down by greed

By now, we must have read about Sam
Allardyce’s humiliating exit from his dream ‘England’ job just after one game in charge and 67
days at the helm. The 61 year-old is expected to face the Football Association following
revelations in an undercover newspaper investigation about comments he made,
specifically on third-party ownership and offering advice to businessmen on how
to “get around” the
governing body’s rules on transfers. 
According to him, he was only doing a
friend Scott McGarvey, whom he has known for 30 years a favour and he held
meetings with people, who were undercover reporters posing as Far East
businessmen. The former Sunderland coach got into a huge trouble after it was
discovered he negotiated a £400,000 deal with an overseas firm hoping to profit
from Premier League transfers and details of the meetings were published on the
Daily Telegraph.
Allardyce was also filmed making indiscreet
comments about Roy Hodgson, FA president Prince William and his brother Prince
Harry.
Shortly after the secrets were blown open,
The Football Association chief executive, Martin Glenn, announced that the
manager had agreed to leave by “mutual consent”.
Allardyce rues his actions
“I can’t put into words how sad
I am to lose the England job.
I know I’ve made a huge misjudgement.”
He continued, “On reflection it was a silly thing to do. I just wanted
to help out someone I’ve known for 30 years and it was an error of judgment on
my behalf. I’ve suffered the consequences. Entrapment has won on this occasion
and I have to accept that.”

He also revealed he has apologised to the FA and everyone else affected
by the situation. He wished England and
their fans the very best adding that he would be taking a break
with his family and starting a two-week holiday. Asked if this was his last job in
football, he said he would never quit the sport.
However, England under-21 manager, Gareth Southgate will take over the
reins of the team as it faces Malta, Slovenia, Scotland and Spain

Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane has denied rumours of a rift with
Cristiano Ronaldo following the latter’s substitution at the 72nd minute of Real Madrid’s game with Las
Palmas yesterday.
The Bernabeu star was visibly angry and
reportedly told him off in hushed tones as he was subbed off, an incident that
generated attention in the media but the ex France international insists both parties are cool. 

“Everything is normal. Cristiano wasn’t the
only one angry after the game but it’s over now and we are thinking about tomorrow’s
game,” the Frenchman said
“I understand the level of attention it
received but it is what it is. I took the decision in the best (interests) of
the player and that’s not going to change anything.
“We
have spoken about it. I’m not dumb and he’s intelligent. We all have the same
objectives, the two of us and the rest of the team

sense of fashion is one fact that is eternally closed for debate.
On several occasions, he’s been seen on the touchline looking smart and
dapper in bespoke and well-fitted suits. On some nights, he sports well-fitted
overcoats and his separate jacket and trouser combinations having never been a
disappointment.
The City boss is the on the cover of the October edition of the Spanish
GQ magazine and he looks nothing short of amazing. The 45 year-old donned a navy
blue shirt and trousers for his cover shot, with the strapline ‘Guardiola on
Manchester (music, football and lots of rain)’.

Xabi Alonso hails 'amazing' Pep

Bayern Munich player, Xabi Alonso has done an appraisal of his former
boss, Pep Guardiola who now holds the forte at the Etihad Stadium.
In three months in charge, Guardiola has won all of his 10 competitive
matches and even equalled the record set by former coach, Carlo
Ancelotti and this has left the ex-Real Madrid player in awe.
He told Marca.”Pep
has a natural talent to understand football and to then transform that
understanding on to his players.”

“He likes to have the ball and for his players
to show courage and you can just feel this. What he has done at Manchester City
over the past two months is amazing. The desire his players have to prove

PSG's Serge Aurier handed two-month prison sentence

Cote d’Ivoire and Paris Saint-Germain defender, Serge Aurier, has been handed
a two-month prison sentence for violence against a police officer.
He elbowed a policeman who asked him to take a breathalyzer test as he
entered his car outside the Champs Elysees night club near Paris on May 30, 2016
He was handed a £521 fine and ordered to pay £1,300 in court costs. Because
it is a ‘convertible’ sentence, the 23-year-old will serve through community
service and will also appeal the sentence.
Reacting to the verdict, PSG released a statement saying it had taken note of the decision
against Aurier. 

“Because of his appeal, PSG still presume the player innocent as the
case is still ongoing. Aurier can continue to play and do his job in France and
abroad. PSG also want to emphasize his professional attitude since returning to
training in July. PSG will make no further official comment until Aurier’s
appeal has been judged.”

I have sleepless nights – Antonio Conte

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte is losing sleep over the club’s issues.
The Blues were defeated in their last two games.; against Liverpool and Arsenal and the man at the helm has admitted the team are only good on paper and not on pitch where it really matters. And to keep his job, he’s determined to find solutions to the lingering  problems. 
“We must improve a lot of if we want to stay up at the top and not in the middle of the table. Conte said. “But my message is not important. The most important message is the one that arrives on the pitch. We must all understand this message, and find very soon the right solution to improve.
“I don’t sleep, sure. I don’t sleep. This is normal. After this game, this defeat, it’s normal for me not to sleep. Not only tonight, but for two nights. When I don’t sleep, I reflect. And it’s important to reflect.
On the recent London derby which ended 3-0 in favour of Arsenal, Conte added. “I got angry at half-time but I prefer to keep my words. There are rules in the dressing room. Sure I was angry but my players were also angry. We were not satisfied with our game, with our performance.
“I have to find the solution very, very soon because against Arsenal we played a very bad game.”
In other news, there are reports that the coach is planning a defensive clear-out following his side’s defeat to the Gunners. Players expected to be affected by the phase out are Ivanovic and Cahill and probably many more

Yaya Toure's agent fires back at Guardiola

Yaya Toure’s agent Dimitri Seluk has issued a response to Pep Guardiola’s
apology demands. Angered by Dimitri’s comments about him, the Spaniard today issued
an ultimatum to the midfielder saying until his agent apologizes to the club, his teammates and the trainer,Yaya is out from the team”. Well, Yaya’s agent has fired back, stating conditions for tendering his
apology.
“What do I need to apologise for? Guardiola wins a
few games and he thinks he is king. I live in Europe so I can say whatever I
like and Guardiola can’t stop me.
“Okay, I will apologise to Guardiola if he will
apologise to Pellegrini for what he did to him. If you are a gentleman, this
just does not happen.
“Pellegrini signed a new contract last year and
then he gets pushed out for Guardiola to come in. Pellegrini was a gentleman.
“Guardiola also needs to apologise to Joe Hart. It
is not normal and it is not right to come to England and to get rid of the few
English players. When you come to a country you must respect the country and
respect its people.”

He continued, “When Yaya went to Man City, they could only
dream about the Champions League. The biggest stars in Europe did not want to
come to City, but Yaya came. They weren’t a big club. After he arrives they
started winning; two league titles, cups and now the semis of the Champions
League. I want Man City to win everything; to win all their games because it
means more trophies for Yaya. City have great players, but Guardiola wants new
future for Yaya, for Hart…and they won’t be the last. I respect managers like
Claudio Ranieri who achieve without spending so much money on players.”

Toure won't play until he apologises – Guardiola

The recent nasty
comments Yaya Toure’s agent, Dimitri Seluk made about the club’s manager, Pep
Guardiola definitely didn’t go unnoticed by the latter. A week ago, Seluk accused the ex-Barcelona coach pf humiliating his client (during
their spells at Barcelona) adding that he hopes the Ivorian gets a chance to prove himself at the English club. The 33 year-old who just retired from international duty has made one appearance for City this season and was dropped from Champions League squad, sparking .

If
(Guardiola) wins the Champions League for City this season then I will
travel to England and I will say on television that Pep Guardiola is the best
manager in the world. But if City
don’t win the Champions League then I hope that Pep has got the balls to say
that he was wrong to humiliate a great player like Yaya.Yaya is a
professional and so he will do everything he is asked to do.What I can
tell you is that Yaya will spend the season at City. He will not be leaving in
January. He hopes that he will get the chance to prove himself.  

 In Man City’s press
conference today, the Spaniard Pep made it clear that Yaya Touré will not play
again for City until the club receives an apology from the agent. 

‘It was so difficult for me to leave
him out of the Champions League, so difficult. I know him and I know he’s a
good guy.‘The day after his manager spoke and
in that moment Yaya is out. Except Mr Dimitri Seluk comes back in the press
conference or to his friends in the media – because he hasn’t the courage to
call me, he goes to the media – and apologise to Manchester City first of all,
then his team-mates, and afterwards the trainer. ‘When that happens Yaya will be part
of the group and he will have the chance to play. I cannot accept as a coach
every agent (who) when his player doesn’t play he goes to the media and speaks.
I know how much Dimitri Seluk loves Yaya Toure. If he loves him, show me by
apologising to Manchester City for what he did in the papers. 

‘I cannot imagine in my day when a
player’s agent would go to the media and speak against Johan Cruyff. Maybe
it’s the new era but I’m old generation, and an old generation agent has to
make his players his job and the coach his job.‘Today agents believe they are more
than they are. If you have a problem, we can talk. Until he speaks, Yaya isn’t
going to play.’

 The former
Bayern boss affirmed.
