Arsenal fans are literally in tears right now and the reason isn’t far-fetched. They lost 3-1 to Chelsea and have turned the heat on 3 set of people in the squad. Topping the list is the coach, Arsene Wenger, who has been described as the bane of the club, having done little or nothing to improve the squad over the years. The maintained that the club needs a major overhauling and the first way to go about it is to show the Frenchman the exit door. They have for the umpteenth time flagged off a “Wenger Out” campaign on social media.
Ozil and Alexis Sanchez were not spared the wrath. The last category are the other members of the team. Their display against the Conte-led side has been described as shameful and pathetic.

Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has been named the world’s highest-earning athlete in 2016 by Forbes magazine. The Portuguese earned $88 million from his sport teams and endorsements. His income rose from $80million to $88m in 2016, Barcelona striker, Messi, comes second with his total income put at $81m (£65m).

Aaron Ramsey ruled out for 3 weeks
Arsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey who suffered a calf injury during the Gunners’ defeat to Watford has been ruled out for 3 weeks.
The Welshman who was substituted on Tuesday night will now miss Saturday’s Premier League clash with Chelsea and also the first leg of the Champions League game with Bayern Munich.
“Overall from the other night we lose Aaron Ramsey, he is expected to be out for 21 days, We are a bit short at the moment but I think we have young players who can do well in there, we have Jeff Reine-Adelaide and Maitland-Niles, Chamberlain and Iwobi can play in there so we still have some strengths.” Arsene Wenger said.

Frank Lampard announces retirement.
Chelsea legend, Frank Lampard has announced his retirement from professional football, bringing to an end a 21-year career. The 38 year- old made 607 apps, 177 goals, 102 assists. He is one of three players to record both 100+ goals & 100+ assists in PL history. Announcing the decision on his official Instagram page, the English footballer wrote,
After 21 incredible years, I have decided that now is the right time to finish my career as a professional footballer. Whilst I have received a number of exciting offers to continue playing at home and abroad, at 38 I feel now is the time to begin the next chapter in my life. I’m immensely proud of the trophies I’ve won, of representing my country over 100 times and of scoring more than 300 career goals.
I have many people to thank. I thank my parents for instilling in me the values of hard work, dedication and professionalism, values which I have carried with me in everything that I do. I am forever grateful for the support of my family, my wife Christine and my two daughters Luna and Isla. What you have given me off the pitch has always been my strength on it. I love you all very much. Also, my friends and my own team that have always been there for me. I would like to thank the amazing team-mates, coaches, managers and backroom staff that I was privileged to work with. I’d also like to pay tribute to the clubs that I have represented. All I can say is from the day I signed until now and going forward, I’m eternally grateful for everything and to everyone. Chelsea fans gave myself and my teammates such incredible support. Their passion and hunger drove me on personally to give my best year after year. I couldn’t have done it without them.

Super Eagles forward, Odion Ighalo’s £20 million (€23.3m) transfer to Chinese Super League side, Changchun Yatai from Watford FC has made him the most expensive and highest earning Nigerian player.

Jurgen Klopp declares Liverpool unbeatable and then apologizes.
Whatever entered into Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp that made him declare his team unbeatable didn’t stay for long, as the German apologized shortly after the ridiculous pronouncement.
Liverpool and Chelsea shared spoils at Anfield yesterday. After Chelsea missed a late penalty in the 1-1 draw, Jurgen Klopp had an exchange with fourth official Neil Swarbrick, screaming ‘No one can beat us’. He later apologized for his actions saying it was a spur of the moment statement.
He told reporters after the match, “Sorry, I want to say something because no one has asked me about it. It was the fourth official thing. I know this from Germany, people writing a big story from reading lips or whatever. So ‘nobody can beat us’ is what I said. That’s obviously not true! But it felt for me like this in this moment.”
He continued, “I said, ‘Sorry, I was a little bit excited,’ and he said: ‘No problem, I like your passion.’ That actually I’ve never heard from a fourth official before so I thought it made sense you knew about it.”
Ronaldinho prefers a different attacking trio to MSN
While Barcelona’s attacking trident of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar have been deemed the best forwards in football history, Brazilian football icon, Ronaldinho doesn’t agree with this line of thought. Not even Real Madrid’s BBC- made up of Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo comes close. The 36 year-old maintained that the trident during his spell at Barcelona were much stronger forces .
“The two tridents made history in their time with the club. Each one in his time did very well. But I prefer mine with Eto’o and Messi,” he said in a recent chat.
Ronaldinho Eto’o and Messi – played together for four seasons from 2004/2005 before he left the Spanish club at the end of the 2007/2008 season.
He also tipped his compatriot, Neymar to be the world best. “Neymar is already on the threshold of the best, I think one day he will be one of the best in the world, Brazilians hope that happens because he is our best player,” he said.
