The FA Cup Draw took place last night about the same time with the Ballon D’or awards event. Manchester United draw Derby, Arsenal will host Burnley and are looking to become the first club to win three back-to-back FA Cups since Blackburn Rovers’s feat in 1886.

Ballon D’or: Messi picks 5th award
Argentina/Barcelona playmaker, Lionel Messi has emerged winner of the 2015 edition of the Ballon D’or awards. Messi garnered 41.33% of total votes cast, Ronaldo and Neymar pulled 27.76% and 7.86% respectively.
“It’s a very special moment for me. It’s incredible that it’s my fifth. It’s much
more than I dreamed of as a kid.” He said
The 28 year-old had a superlative 2015 and played an influential role in his side’s ‘treble’ success. (Champions League, La Liga, Copa del Rey) . In 2015, he netted 52 goals and made 26 assists.

One of the most anticipated football awards, the FIFA Ballon d’Or is finally here. The three men shortlisted for the keenly- contested prize are Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar.
