"YOU HAVE NO SENSE OF MATURITY AND DECENCY"-NFF BLASTS SUNDAY OLISEH

It appears former Super Eagles captain, Sunday Oliseh has definitely bitten more than he can chew, having made comments over the interview process that produced Stephen Keshi as the new Super Eagles team.
Chris Green, Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation Technical Sub-Committe expressed his disappointment and advised him to state the role he wishes to play in Nigerian football "Oliseh's coaching pedigree and assumed capabilities have not been demonstrated; they exist largely in the media. He has to demonstrate those assumed qualities at appropriate levels. As far as we are concerned, he did not react like a true sportsman",
"You would expect someone like him, whom we suppose has sense of maturity and decency, to simply congratulate his former Captain, Mr. Keshi and gracefully accept the decision of the NFF, which has been hailed by the vast majority. Instead, he is saying the wrong things and trying to run the NFF down.
How can Oliseh imagine that he will favourably compete with Keshi in an interview for senior team coaching position? How can anyone reasonably compare someone who has qualified a team to the FIFA World Cup finals and coached two different teams at the African Cup of Nations, at senior level, to someone who has only been dealing with junior ones and pupils?
The NFF is proud to have appointed Keshi and we know he has capacity to take our football to the very top. Oliseh should work harder in the years ahead to earn some stripes in order to qualify to be considered for senior team coaching". He stated.

2FACE IDIBIA SAVES HALF-DEAD POLICEMAN

Multiple award -winning singer, Tuface Idibia deserves a national honour at the moment(pun intended). Like the biblical good Samaritan, the African Queen crooner recently saved the life of a police officer who was shot and left to die by a roadside.
That fateful night 2face and a close friend had left Nu-Grotto club around 3am and was heading to a particular hotel at Ikoyi when they sighted a man lying down by the roadside, the duo alighted and on closer observation discovered he was a policeman who was writhing in pains, having been shot in the hand, stomach and leg. They quickly rushed him to the Reddington Hospital also located in Victoria Island. "I have a card here", he told one of the staff who appeared uncooperative. Recalling his ordeal with armed robbers in 2007, 2face was rushed to that same hospital.
The policeman, identified as Corporal Ganiu is in stable condition and has since been transferred to the Military Hospital, Ikoyi for further treatment.

TONTO DIKE PLANS BIG FOR 100 CHILDREN

Driven mainly by the need to appreciate unsung children in schools, Sultry Nollywood actress, Tonto Dike is set to fete 100 most brilliant students from both private and public schools; scheduled to hold at the Ogba-based exquisite Troy bar and restaurant on December 10, 2011, the event promises to be fun-filled.
According to the fair in complexion actress who also recently delved into music, "the act of rewarding brilliant students with scholarships and through other means which used to be very prevalent in those days seem to have gone into extinction, there are thousands of intelligent students who need to be shown lots of love, if not for anything but for their outstanding success, the idea is to appreciate them in any little way I can and this Christmas period provides an excellent opportunity". She concluded.

MIKEL WAS FLOP OF THE CHELSEA/LIVERPOOL MATCH

The Chelsea versus Liverpool match played on Sunday 20th November will remain one of Chelsea football club's woeful games this premier league season, having lost in their Stamford Bridge home and disappointed their teeming fans. Above all, Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi has been rated the flop of the match, and this is not unassociated with his poor performance on pitch.
A statement revealed that "he dawdled wantonly in his own half to be dispossessed by Adam in the build-up to the opening goal on an afternoon when he looked pedestrian and fortunate to be in the team. Subbed at half-time".Source: Goal.com
