WINNERS OF THE NIGERIA MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS (NMVA)2011

The much-anticipated Nigerian Music Video Awards (NMVA) has come and gone but the excitement and honour it brought will linger in the memories of those who witnessed it especially R n B singer, Dare Art alade and fast-rising singer, Jodie who clinched two awards each.
Hosted by Gbenga Adeyinka, Comedian of the Federal Republic, (CFR) and ex beauty Queen cum rapper, Munachi Abii, the event which was organized by Producer, Callivision Network (Live beats Cally Ikpe, was held at the Eko Hotel&Suites. Musical performances were reeled from Wizkid, Minjin, Vector, Dipp, Joel and lots more.

RICK ROSS, SEAN KINGSTON TO HEADLINE CALABAR CARNIVAL 2011

Popular American rapper Rick Ross and Jamaican-American Sean Kingston have been billed to perform with Psquare, Banky W, Wizkid, OJB Jezreel to mention a few at the 2011 edition of Calabar Carnival.
Termed Africa's Biggest Street Party and scheduled to hold in December, the carnival which will also welcome fashion shows, traditional dances and many more was initiated by ex Cross River Governor, Donald Duke in 2004.
The two singers will be performing at different dates, while Sean Kingston's performance is scheduled for Friday, December 16, 2011 at the UJ Esuene Sports Stadium, Rick Ross will thrill fans on the Wednesday, December 28.
Akon, Young Jeezy, Fat joe, Lucky Dube etc are some of the international stars that have witnessed/performed at the event.

YEMI SOLADE RESPONDS TO NUDE PICTURE STORY

Articulate Nollywood actor, Yemi Solade has debunked the sexual harrassment allegation levelled against him by a woman he met on facebook.
It was earlier reported that he started a relationship with the woman via facebook, harrassed her sexually and even sent her some nude pictures.
Though he didn't take the issue lightly but he was calm enough to explain his own side of the story, "She added me on Blackberry and I was trying to be civil when she chatted with me. She told me she was a lawyer. Someone told me she was not; that she and her husband were fraudsters. She called me a week after and accused me of not calling her. I asked her for what, and she started abusing me. I told her off. I even went on Facebook and denounced her. She turned around and accused me of sending her nude pictures. Let her provide the nude pictures if she is telling the truth," He concluded.

NGOZI NWOSU FLAUNTS HER NEW LOOK.

Nollywood veteran and Fuji House of Commotion star, Ngozi Nwosu stunned lots of people when she posted her recent pictures on facebook, she has however revealed the secret behind her massive weight loss.
"I slug it out with exercise, that is why I am able to drop from a size 18 to a size 14. I work out from Mondays to Saturdays. It is only Sundays that I don't walk out. That is how I got my shape."

MEET THE EIGHT FINALISTS OF THE NEXT MOVIE STAR

THE EXPERIENCE GOSPEL CONCERT HOLDS IN NEW VENUE

Reputed to be the largest concert in Africa, the annual 'The Experience' gospel concert is set to hold from 5pm to 1am on 2nd December, 2011 at the Expo Centre, Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Now in its sixth year, it features prominent local and international gospel artistes as well as records massive attendance of people who put aside tribe, tongue, class, and creed, come together and lift one voice and worship God. The event is seen as a bridge of reconciliation, and a beacon of light and hope to the much afflicted and often maligned continent of Africa.
Convened and hosted by Pastor Paul Adefarasin, Gospel artistes to minister this year include Don Moen, Chevelle Franklyn, Micah Stampley and Kirk Franklin.
