SINGER JUSTIN BIEBER 'GRATIFIES MOTHER';GETS HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA

Canadian music star, Justin Bieber is finally through with high school. But that's not even what excites him most as he claimed running 'his studies' and his music career was a hell of a challenge,

"I passed my test – I'm free! It was hard doing school and work every day." He insisted.

What however will remain a source of joy and relief is that he has finally satisfied his mother, Pattie Mallette's wish.

"That was something my mom really wanted me to do," "I mean this kind of lifestyle has given me a different perspective on life. I've been able to travel the world. At school, usually you have to do a lot of writing and reading. I'm really not into that stuff. I like to be out there." He revealed!

At the tender age of 18, it is no gainsay that the 'Never say Never' star has really achieved a lot for himself, music wise. His fan base is also getting extremely wide, infact he recently became the second most popular celebrity on twitter.

Raised by a 36 year-old mum who wanted to commit suicide at 17, the boyfriend to international star, Selena Gomez now has enough time to focus on so many things including his upcoming album 'Believe', fragrance, travelling and hanging out with girlfriend.

Shaking my head for children of nowadays! So Justin's schooling was to gratify his single mother? Issokay!

TIWA SAVAGE SEALS ENDORSEMENT DEAL, SETS NEW RECORD

Wave-making music sensation and the firstlady of Don Jazzy-led Mavin records, Tiwa Savage has everything going well for her. Few days ago, she was signed on a new record label and another good news is that she's just sealed up a multi-million naira contract with giant beverage company, Pepsi.

The pretty former Los Angeles-based songwriter has however set a new record for being the first African and (Nigerian as well) to clinch such a huge endorsement deal.

FIVE YEAR OLD KID FLEXES MUSIC MUSCLES

The "great things come in small packages" maxim can best describe the personality of dimunitive rising superstar, OzzyBosco. Born in Lagos on 7th January 2007 to the popular Delta State business woman 'Chief Nonye Mojekwu,' the most fascinating thing about young and auspicious Oziomachukwu Mojekwu is that just like the late legendary king of pop, 'Micheal Jackson', Bow Wow, Justin Bieber and the likes, he has able to find his calling in music at such an unthinkable age.

He started by miming and boogeing excellently to songs of Nigerian artistes. Fully convinced he could start impressing music addicts and pundits and with the full weight of family&friends, he jumpstarted his music career in 2011.

One of his highlights was the 7th edition of the Kids Got Talent Competition held in 2011, his delivery wasn't only awesome but he also went home with the coveted prize.

Ever since then, the five year old has not only been invited for shows but also holding the audience spellbound with captivating and unbelievable performances, with this, one can safely say the hugely promising chap is not only going to heat up and be a dominant figure in the industry but take his music beyond the shores of the country.

Often referred to as the next big thing he has performed in shows like the 2011 Diamond Bank End of the year party, Little Saints Orphanage's JoyNight event, the St. Monica's Orphanage to mention a few.

OzzyBosCo's humanitarian strength is also amazing, through donations in cash and kind, he has left smiles on the faces of the less privileged children.

His latest single, Superstar featuring Lamboginny of the Sax Records and produced by No.1 Sax Boss, YemiSax is due for release in the second quarter of 2012.

The sky is therefore the stepping stone for the handsome and talented child who is determined to make an extensive impact.

DON JAZZY LAUNCHES MAVIN RECORDS LABEL, ENLISTS WANDE COAL, TIWA SAVAGE, DR SID& D PRINCE.

The news isn't that Mo'hits is now a past, the gist is that the children&one of the parents from the broken marriage have decided to forge ahead&break new grounds. Thus, famed producer, Michael Collins has unveiled his new label, 'Mavin Records'.

The newest label on bloc which trended worldwide on social network site, 'Twitter' early this morning features the likes of Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage, Dr Sid and D Prince.
They have already recorded a compilation album titled 'Solar Plexus' which of course is produced exclusively by Don Jazzy. It would be unveiled on 8th of May 2012.

PHOTOS: SORROW&TEARS AS RASHIDI YEKINI IS LAID TO REST

The late football legend, Rashidi Yekini was finally laid to rest at his Ira, Kwara State hometown amidst torrents of tears by family members, sympatizers, colleagues&friends.

"The last time I saw my Dad was last Tuesday and we spoke very well. I'm going to miss him. He is the best father in the world," Yemi Yekini, daughter of the late footballer.

Dignitaries who came to pay their last respect include members of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ike Shorunmu, Oyo Sports Commissioner, Dapo Lam Adesina, Mutiu Adepoju, Dimeji Lawal, Ajibade Babalade as well as representatives of Governors of Osun, Oyo, Kwara who (the three) made a cash donation of one million naira each.
According to reports, while some were happy at the gesture, others deemed it belated, they claimed it would have been used to treat his ailment.

2FACE&ANNIE MACAULAY WED SECRETLY

I'll tag this as the most 'camouflaged' decision of the year 2012'. Never believed this post would be bereft of the usual wedding pictures.

After fervent speculations, we can now authoritatively tell you that 2face Idibia and fiancée Annie Macaulay and mother of one of his six children have secretly tied the knot.

It was the most anticipated wedding of year 2012 but the pair made it a strictly-family affair as only their family members and one or two friends were in attendance.

An introduction was done a day after 2face released his concert and fifth album launch and the hush-hush wedding was done the following day at a private registry in Lagos. (You go fear planning)

2face confirming the news yesterday tweeted,

"@real2faceidibia: Hello beautiful pple of the republic! It is true! It is official! Annie and I r legally married! Thanx 4 your support and best wishes".

And this was what the 'twitterly' excited new bride, 'Annie' posted.

"@AnnieMacaulay1: I Love My Life…..It So Golden ***wide smile**

Though some sources claim the couple would still have an elaborate ceremony later but seriously I don't know why I doubt that, at least I'm supposed to have 'faith'.

Anybody who knows the 2 of them should tell them that I've not forgiven them o for not giving me pictures to use here.

NIGERIAN FOOTBALL LEGEND, RASHIDI YEKINI DIES

After so many speculations, it has been confirmed that Nigerian football legend Rashidi Yekini is dead.
According to sources which include sports analysts, colleagues& other footballers, the striker died this evening at Osogbo at the age of 48.
He would be buried according to muslim rites at his family House in Otta tomorrow.
He was the first Nigerian ever to be recognized as the best player on the African continent& was the most valuable player at the 1994 Cup of Nations.

May his gentle soul find repose
