ASHTON KUTCHER IS HIGHEST PAID TV ACTOR

Actor Ashton Kutcher has surpassed rival Charlie Sheen as the highest paid TV actor on Forbes’ list.

The two and a half men star reportedly banked $24 million for his role in the popular sitcom which records 12.4 million viewers per episode.

Asides acting, 34 year-old Kutcher has investments in Silicon Valley, Skype, Spotify and Airbnb valued at $1 billion.’

ALEX SONG'S STOLEN PASSPORT DELAYS BARCA RETURN

He was expected to return to training with his club today but Barcelona midfielder Alex Song is currently stranded in Cameroon following the theft of his passport.

Real drama! But how exactly did this happen? The former Arsenal player arrived at the airport to find his passport and some belongings stolen. Just like that?

Although efforts to get the 25 year-old a new passport are in gear, it is uncertain that he will be available for the Barcelona Deportivo clash slated for saturday.

WORLDS APART? TONTO DIKE AND STELLA DAMASUS RELEASE SINGLES

I need to take a deep breath on this one. The last time I checked, it isn’t a crime for an entertainer or an artiste to diversify into other lines of businesses. We’ve seen a couple of actor or actresses who at one point or the other went to the studio to release singles; Omotola, Genevieve, Gabriel Afolayan and recently Tonto Dike and Stella Damasus who released theirs yesterday or so.

Blogsphere or the two most popular social sites, Facebook and twitter went seismic yesterday over Tonto Dike’s songs whereas not the slightest form of fuss was raised on Stella’s. I understand that one sang better than the other and it’s not a crime for fans, or music freaks to register their disappointment or satisfaction after listening to both.
I listened to the two songs and honestly, they didn’t sound as baaaad as people profess(ed) it to be. Besides ( I wrote it last week (quoting Bon online) that she said her song was going to leave you dazed, meaning she ‘warned’ you before hand.lol
Was tonto’s song that bad or people just felt like blowing it out of proportion? Even if the songs are bad, one thing is she or both are rookies in the music industry and if they have found another calling in music there can always be room for improvement.
I know first impression lasts but there are some artistes whose first single turned out to be epic fail but they later picked up, let’s just hope someone sings a much more better song next time. So it’s not yet ova.looool

CHELSEA LEFT-BACK, ASHLEY COLE FINED £90, 000 OVER TWITTER COMMENT

Isn't this becoming alarming? The rate at which footballers are being fined over one thing or the other especially twitter comments is startling.

The latest prey is Chelsea left-back, Ashley Cole and I think he went a little bit overboard by labelling the FA (Football Association) a "bunch of twats" on twitter over John Terry's racial abuse case.

The FA have decided to take the matter up even after he apologized via his attorney and in person.

A statement on their website reads," Chelsea's Ashley Cole has been fined £90,000 after he admitted an FA charge in relation to a Twitter comment which was improper and/or brought the game into disrepute. Cole, who had requested a non-personal hearing, was also warned as to his future conduct."

18 year-old pop star, Justin Bieber has penned a two-year lucrative deal with sportswear company Adidas as it its new global style icon.

Speaking on the partnership, the canadian teen artiste whose fashion icon is James Dean says "the collaboration is a 'perfect fit' because 'we both believe in living life to the fullest, being young, free and making our own style.'

As a brand ambassador, Bieber will drive the company's ad campaigns, it will aslo afford fans the opportunity to shop for his favorite looks.

PHOTOS: FELA'S HOME TURNED INTO KALAKUTA REPUBLIC MUSEUM

This is a bit belated but it could still pass for fresh news. Right?
To mark his 74th post-humous birthday, children or family of the late Afrobeat Legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s has turned his home to a beautiful museum.
The yet-to-be completed musuem was inaugurated in Lagos on October 15, which turned out to be the late icon’s birthday date, according to one of his sons, Femi Kuti, it symbolises his birthday and struggles.
 
Renamed Kalakuta Republic Museum and located on Gbemisola Street, Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos, the museum bears Fela’s items like dresses, saxophone, shoes; his bedroom, sitting rooms, , photographs with over 3,000 of Fela’s clothes are on display as well as the last bedsheet he used before he died in 1997.
Many other things according to the curator of the museum, Lemmy Gariokwu will still be fixed.

Ace commentator, Kayode Tijaani broke the news this morning via micro-blogging site, Twitter.

"Please Pray for Peter Rufai!He is hospitalised right now. His Brother Bruce says he is unconscious.

DR SID OPENS UP ON HIS LEAKED CONVERSATION WITH DAVIDO

He didn't deny his involvement in the leaked conversation and since the identity of the person who recorded it remains shrouded in mystery, he would be more careful next time.

MAVIN singer Dr SID posted some tweets to clear the air, "Hi tweeps hope everyone is having a good day?, please permit me to address the issue of the recording that was released this weekend'.

'I'm entitled to my opinion and it's unfortunate that this happened. Sadly, someone chose to record this private conversation and release it to the public.

The conversation which saw him making comments on why his ex-boss D'banj is bigger than him took place in the presence of Davido and three other guys called Godfather, Evil and Kamal.
