PHOTOS: SIR ALEX FERGUSON STATUTE UNVEILED

Being Manchester United Manager for 26 years is a huge feat and erecting a statute is the least thing they could do to honour Sir Alex Ferguson. Once again, very well deserved.

The nine-foot bronze statue was made by renowned sculptor Philip Jackson and positioned in a prominent position near the entrance to the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand.

key figures present at the unveiling ceremony include Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie, Eric Cantona, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Peter Schmeichel amongst others.

SHAKIRA SLAMMED WITH $100MILLION LAWSUIT

Colombian star, Shakira has been slammed with a $100 million lawsuit by her ex-boyfriend for breach of contract.

Shakira and Antonio de la Rua dated for over 10 years and parted ways in 2010, they vowed to remain friends and continue as business partners. Antonio is suing the pregnant singer for failing to pay him a share of her business profits even after he helped her secure a $300 deal with Live Nation.

CLATTENBERG VS CHELSEA: MIKEL OBI HAS A CASE TO ANSWER

Finally, referee Mark Clattenburg has been cleared of the racism case. But Mikel Obi has a case to answer as he's been accused of using racist language towards the former during Chelsea Manchester United clash.

And funny enough Mikel didn't even hear anything, Ramires told him Clattenberg called him a monkey. On impulse, he barged into the ref's room to make a little trouble. That action according to FA is a breach of FA Rule E3

The troubled coach who has refereed any game since the whole issue started will officiate on friday.

On his freedom, Clattenburg said: 'I am looking forward to putting this behind me and concentrating on refereeing in the Premier League and other competitions.

'To know you were innocent of something but that there was the opportunity for it to wreck your career was truly frightening.

Racism has no place in football and this experience should not discourage those to speak out if they genuinely believe they are a victim of abuse.

KIM AND KHOURTNEY KARDASHIAN 'TURN' MANNEQUINS FOR NEW REALITY SHOW

Hell No, they won't be posing as mannequins throughout the whole show. But Kim and Kourtney Kardashian went through some crazy experience just to promote their new 'Khourtney and Kim take Miami' reality series. But I love the fact that they picked a unique approach.

Khourtney described the experience as crazy. " For this shot, we had to climb up a ladder in the rain in tight dresses, which was scary, but even more scary was standing up on the overhang of the roof with strong winds and rain. What a crazy

fabulous day! We shot with photographer Brian Bowen Smith, who has this crazy wild energy and made the shoot day so

much fun"

Meanwhile speculation is rife that Kanye West might stop Kim from featuring in the reality show permanently.

Interesting!!!

SIX EVICTED FROM THE NEXT MOVIE STAR REALITY SHOW

Needless to say eviction in reality shows is quite inevitable. Less than a month after the 2012 housemates of the Next Movie Star were ushered into the camp, six housmates have gotten the boot. The eviction didn't come at once. Four of the prospective actors, Alabi Folake, Tonia Ese Oria-Arebun, Ifovboa Ehijemen Jude and Esigbone Ejiro Kingsley, were the first set to bow out.

Just when the remaining housemates were trying to come to terms with this sudden turn of events, Chimezie Okeke and Million Santong, were evicted after recording low votes.

Explaining reasons for the eviction, the associate producer, Uche Sam-Anyamele said, "At this point, the housemates are aware that not all of them can make it to the finals; evictions have to happen and nobody is immune to it. More so, the fate of each housemate is in the hands of the teeming viewers of the show, not the organisers."

He said further that the evicted quartet failed to live up to expectations when it mattered most, which did not go unnoticed by viewers. "Their votes in the week under review were very low and therefore had to be evicted," Sam-Anyamele averred.

Speaking after the eviction, Ejiro, a 500 level student of University of Benin, said, "I didn't expect my journey here (NMS) to end so soon, but I must confess that I have gained a lot in the past few weeks; from the training and grooming to being in the House proper, it has been a worthwhile experience."

To Chigbufue Bridget, "It is all a game. Some people will lose and some will win, everybody cannot win the NMS."

The show is gradually getting into the final rounds, the remaining housemates have been digging into the depth of their artistry to ensure they remain in contention for the Brand New Jeep, cash prize, movie roles and other accoutrements that come with being winner of the Next Movie Star.

The NMS is broadcast on television stations across Nigeria like Galaxy, Silverbird, and MITV and many more.

But you know she is, right? And she actually looks like Stephanie Okereke-linus a bit (in this picture tho). Anyways, this is a promo shoot for the "Dr Bello' film the established actress and ambassador starred in.

CHELSEA SACKS COACH ROBERTO DI MATTEO

Oh Not again! O_o. Following their disgraceful loss to Juventus last night, Chelsea FC owner, Roman Abramovich has opened the exit door to coach Roberto Di Matteo. This is coming six months after he helped them to win their first Champions League cup.

Ex-barcelona coach, Pep Guardiola, might pick up the baton.

But really, who can now coach that club for at least 3 years without being sacked?

Very hasty decision!!!
