ACTRESS, STEPHANIE OKEREKE'S PROJECT FEATURED IN LOS ANGELES NEWSPAPER

Stephanie Okereke-Linus

Stephanie Okereke’s upcoming movie, ‘Dry’ aims to address the issue of Vesico Vaginal Fistula, a disease which always occur during child birth amongst women in the Northern part of Nigeria.

she was once quoted thus, “I have decided to share their stories through ‘DRY’. It journeys into the heart-wrenching details of a culture not too many films dare to explore. The issue might seem controversial, but if it will set one girl free and open the minds of the people, and also instruct different bodies and individuals to take action, then the movie would have served its purpose.” she

This project however got a mention in a Los Angeles newspaper, ”The LA Sentinel’ published on the 24th of January, 2013. It was captioned ‘Nigerian star, Stephanie Okereke-Linus tackles VVF‘.
