Organizers of the 2013 African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) have released the list of films, actors/actresses who made this year's nominations cut.In a statement by AMAA, entries sent in this year were quite impressive and as a matter of fact are improvement of last year's. This year's edition of the event will be held at Bayelsa State on April 25. Rita Dominic's The Meeting movie has safely secured the highest number of nominations, namely; AMAA 2013 Prize For Best Actor In A Leading Role, AMAA 2013 Prize For Best Actor In A Supporting Role, AMAA 2013 Prize For Best Actress In A Supporting Role, AMAA 2013 Prize For Best Achievement in Costume Design,

27) AMAA 2013 Prize For Best Diaspora (Short Film)No nominations in this category because the AMAA jury does not feel the entries were representative of the genre.

So far, so good, its been a very fruitful year for Gospel rapper, Bukky Afolayan (B.O.U.Q.U.I). She staged her Love, Hope and War tour concert few months ago, released a captivating video and now the self-acclaimed Rapvangelist has been signed on to XIST MUSIC USA, the recording label of Xist Music Worldwide. Interestingly, she's the first African artiste and the first female act on the label. She's also been made the President of Xist Music Africa.

This good news is coming few months after the rap queen recorded a song with one of Xist Music artistes and Grammy nominee "Da T.r.u.t.h" titled Celebrate.

The deal includes international recordings with all Xist Music artistes and other relevant artistes in the world and an intensive distribution of B.O.U.Q.U.I's album and materials in the United States of America and the UK.
