QUEEN OF TUBE, FUNMI IYANDA IS THE NEW COVER GIRL FOR GENEVIEVE MAGAZINE

Award-winning broadcaster and columnist, Funmilola Iyanda is the face of Genevieve Magazine for the month of May.

Look beyond Funmi's slim figure, she's strong, energetic, hard-working, inspiring and has achieved a lot in her career.

Her 'New Dawn' TV show belted on NTA network few years ago served as a vehicle for social change and transformation by advocating the cause of the vulnerable members of the society.

If there's one thing I totally love about this cover, it is her short hair. And one more thing, I'm one of her greatest fans!

DAVID MOYES TO SUCCEED SIR ALEX FERGUSON

Less than 24hours after Sir Alex Ferguson announced his retirement as manager of Manchester United, David Moyes is taking over. He has signed a 6-year deal to become the new manager.

The Everton helsman will be joining the club at the end of the season,

'I am delighted that Sir Alex saw fit to recommend me for the job. I have great respect for everything he has done and for the football club.

I know how hard it will be to follow the best manager ever but the opportunity to manage Manchester United isn't something that comes around very often and I'm really looking forward to taking up the post next season." He stated.

71-year old Ferguson who has spent 27 years in the club believes Moyes is the perfect candidate for the position. TO STAY OR NOT: MOURINHO FINALLY MAKES HIS DECISION

Yes we can now stop guessing. Self-proclaimed Special one and Real Madrid coach, Jose Mourinho has decided to continue at Real Madrid next season. This was confirmed in a press conference few hours ago.

It would be recalled that the Portuguese hinted he was on his way back to England just after his team lost to German club, Dortmund at the Semi-final stage of the UEFA Champions' League.

"I know in England I am loved. I know. I know I am loved by the fans. I am loved by the media that treats me in a fair way, criticizing me when they have to, but giving me credit when I deserve it. I know I am loved by some clubs, especially one."

He signed a contract extension until 2016 with Real Madrid last year May. So we can now rule out his chances of going back to Stamford bridge. This must hurt some Chelsea fans, most of them have been looking forward to his grand return.
