If the news on MTN football website is anything to go by, then Chelsea midfielder Mikel Obi has agreed to leave Stamford bridge for Turkish club, Galatasaray.
MTN Football also learns that the Nigerian player will be replacing Brazil star Fillipe Melo who's leaving the club soon.
According to Galatasaray Sporting Director, Bulent Tulun key officials of both clubs will meet and decide on the transfer.
The remainder of his contract which expires in 2017 will be bought out.
The 26 year-old joined Chelsea from FK Lyn for €26 million in 2006, has made over 270 appearances for Chelsea, won the Premier League title, four FA Cups and one Champions League title.
