The 2013 edition of the City People Entertainment awards took place at the Haven Events Center, Ikeja on the Sunday the 14th of July, 2013. The star-sprangled event which had in attendance many renowned Nigerian and Ghanaian entertainers mostly from the music and movie spheres was anchored by popular O.A.P Toke Makinwa and comedian, MC Abbey. With its current value put at $3.3 billion, they edged out prominent English club, Manchester United who topped the list last year. Their rival, Barcelona also rose from number eight spot to number three.

Late American singer, Whitney Houston's riveting hit single, "I Will Always Love You" has been engraved on her gravestone, located at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey.

Also inscribed on the monument include her name, birth and date deaths and the words 'The voice'. It would be recalled that the multiple-award winner diva cum actress passed on in her Beverly Hills hotel room on February 11, 2012.
