Hopefully we'll have more male celebrities gracing magazine covers this year than ever. I really hope so. Rave of the moment artiste, Sean Tizzle cuts a a dapper and dainty pose on the January edition of Bubbles Magazine. Spruced up in a three-colour patterned suit, a white shirt and black bow tie, the 'Shole' crooner is one of the Nigerian artistes who are taking the industry by storm this year.
KELLY ROWLAND ANNOUNCED AS STAR GUEST OF DAREY'S 'LOVE LIKE A MOVIE' CONCERT SEASON 2
As preparations get underway, organizers of the ‘Love Like a Movie’ concert series have announced American singer and former member of the defunct Destiny’s Child group, Kelly Rowland as the star guest for this year’s edition. You would recall that the first guest of the maiden edition of the show was reality Tv star and model, Kim Kardashian.
Put together by Darey’s Livespot Productions, the 2014 edition would take place on Saturday February 15, 2014 at Eko Hotel and Suites, Ocean view Grounds, Lagos. A statement from Kelly Rowland who’s coming to Nigeria for the second time reads thus, “I’m so excited to be a part of this innovative concert! And I’m really looking forward to coming to Nigeria too. I hear LLAM Season 1 was simply magical and I really can’t wait to get on stage and give a great show.”
Other artistes billed to perform at the event include D’banj, Tiwa Savage, Waje, Timi Dakolo, Seyi Shay, Mo ‘Eazy, Zaina, Muna, JJC, Eva and a host of others.
“Kelly is a great performer and we’re delighted to have her on board LLAM Season 2: The Love Roller Coaster! She’s an extremely talented artiste, beautiful, sexy, very friendly and humane. She will undoubtedly enjoy her stay in Nigeria and I’m also hoping she will try some pounded yam and efo riro before she leaves!” Darey stated.

2014 BALLON D'OR: MARADONA RENEWS FEUD WITH PELE
Seems the feud between these two football greats is not going to end soon. The funniest part is that Maradona does the talking or slamming most of the time. Reacting to the Brazilian hero, Pele’s recent honorary Ballon D’or award, the Argentine Legend maintained that the three-time World Cup-winner will always remains second best to him.
Speaking with reporters, he said, “How can people say Pele received the Ballon d’Or before me? I received the Golden Ball for services to football from France Football in 1996. So to make out as if Pele is the first one to receive the award before me is a huge mistake. For me, Pele will always remain second best in football when compared to Maradona.
He continued, “Look at it this way, in his own country, Brazil, Pele is the second best sportsman after former Formula One racer Ayrton Senna. Pele will always be second, be it in international football or in Brazilian sports. The sad thing is that he is second best and he will continue to stay in that position. While presenting this year’s Ballon d’Or to Cristiano Ronaldo, Pele uttered his name as ‘Cristiano Leonardo’. This just shows where he belongs.”
I consider the ‘Cristiano Leonardo’ statement totally off-point.
