"It's a disgrace". Mourinho furious at journalist who filmed his comment about Samuel Eto'o

That Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho loves the spotlight so much is a fact not subject to any argument.  He’s been on sports headlines of late for several reasons; good, bad and funny. His habit of having a go at others unchallenged will never go unnoticed. Well we could consider this a taste of his own medicine.
Earlier on, the ex Real Madrid coach thought he made an off-record comment when he told a media house he lacked strikers and went as far as questioning Samuel Eto’o’s true age. “The problem with Chelsea is I lack a striker. I have Eto’o but he is 32 years old, maybe 35, who knows?” He stated.
The Jaguar ambassador after his attention was drawn to the footage has not hidden his disappointment at the media house who aired his “harmless statement”. He says, “It was a funny conversation with somebody that doesn’t belong to the football world.”
He continued, “It is a disgrace that someone is taping a private conversation I’m not defending what I’m saying. I’m attacking something that is, I think, fundamental in your professional area and that person. showed exactly what he is or what he does not know about the job. From my perspective, the comment is not obviously a good one, not one I would do in a serious way, not something I would do in an official way in an interview.”

Dayo Amusa stuns in new promo shots!

Actress cum producer, Dayo Amusa has released the official video of her debut single, titled Unforgivable. You would recall that the entrepreneur recorded the song whilst shooting her award-winning movie, “Unforgivable”. She also shared these new promo shots!

"Arsene Wenger has done minor miracles"

Call him a Specialist in failure or a trophyless business man, there are other people who believe Arsene Wenger remains a fantastic manager. Arsenal Legend, Bob Wilson is one of them. He thinks the Frenchman has done extremely well and his achievements cannot be measured in trophies alone (despite the 9-year drought at the English club)
“When you put everything into perspective in terms of the money and where the game is at, then to even be challenging this season, a point behind Chelsea with the way the club is managed, is a minor miracle and a great feather in the cap for this squad of players. If Arsenal could win the league this year, then in my opinion that would be an achievement to rank close to the ‘invincibles’ season. I look not only Arsene’s great achievements when he first came.
It is about what has happened since then, with (Arsenal) building a new ground and all the debt that incurred, but still getting in the Champions League. Obviously you are going all that time without winning a trophy, which is now nearly nine years, but who has been winning things? Yes, Wigan won the FA Cup last year, but you need to play well and have the luck of the draw, but if you are talking about the major things, being champions of your country and Europe, then it all becomes secondary.
The 72 year old added, “Would you really rather say ‘well, we won the League Cup’, but then not be in the Champions League again next season? I personally wouldn’t. What Arsene has achieved with the (financial) constraints of the new stadium move, is truly amazing.
We know Manchester City have a sheikh and Chelsea have an oligarch and have won things because of the money they have spent – Chelsea had not won the league championship for 50 years before Roman Abramovich arrived – but the Mesut Ozil signing shows the Arsenal board can now make a statement. We now have to go into this area of paying £40m or £50m if you are really going to seriously challenge under a company run in a proper way against the bottomless pits (of wealthy owners).”

Loladeville blog is under construction

Hello esteemed readers,
My blog is undergoing reconstruction and this is expected to last for few days (2-3 days). I’ve not stopped posting stories, only that the web version of the blog has started appearing a little bit disorganized but you can always read fresh posts from the blog archive. It hasn’t affected the mobile version of the blog.

Fan cleans stadium seats after club re-signs his favourite player.

Be careful what you wish for. Lol! Craig Delew, a fan of Leyton Orient FC, (not an English Premier League club) promised via a tweet to clean all the seats in the club’s stadium if the management re-signs his favourite player, goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic. And you know what? The club did bring the goal-keeper from loan.
Craig, being a man of his words, cleaned up all the seats in the 2,600-capacity stand. After that (probably) strenous exercise, he got a VIP treatment from the club and even tweeted a picture of him and Edwin.
Matt Porter, the club’s Chief Executive joked, “Like all good clubs, we decide our transfer policy based on what our fans tweet.”
