Keshi to be blamed for goalless draw- Okocha

To those who saw the game last night, this headline is like stating the obvious. Former Super Eagles Captain, Austin Jay Jay Okocha has said Coach Stephen Keshi should be held responsible for the Super Eagles’ dismal performance against Iran last night.

The African football legend who is one of the World Cup analysts on Supersport told his colleagues. “Keshi should be held responsible for the way the team played. Before the match he said African teams are tactically not disciplined and he did not bring anything new to the table. His changes were poor. He took out Moses and brought in Ameobi. I think that was a wrong change. We saw how Osaze came in and showed a lot of creativity. That is the kind of thing we expected. Iran match would have been our strongest point but we missed it.”

"The world will respect us after we beat Nigeria"- Iranian defender

Pejman Montazeri, a defender in the Iranian national team is confident that they will stun the world and beat Nigeria tonight. He also added that when they deliver a wonderful result, people’s perception about their team being the “whipping team of Group F” would not only change, he’s hopeful some of their players will make it into international transfer window.

He told reporters, “We are not bothered by what people think of us. Everywhere you go you hear people say that we are the poor members of our group, but Monday will show who actually is the poor team here. We will definitely try to make our country proud. Our first and main objective is against Nigeria and we have to focus on that.

He continued, “We are probably the team that is the least recognized, the least known of all the other 31 teams, but the one thing that I can guarantee is that after 90 minutes we will earn the respect of the Nigerians, we will earn the respect of the football fans and the world will begin to recognize the level of play that we have on our team. The players are confident yet humble. This team is prepared to sacrifice, to suffer, to fight with humility and represent Iran the best possible way.”

Son from hell! Father disowns son in newspaper (Photo)

Ol boy! *sigh* for him to have paid for a slot in the newspaper to convey this message, that dude must be a son from hell! And needless to say he was really really pained to the marrow. Excerpts from the “shout-out” (yes, I’ll tag this a shout-out.) Hope guys would not start calling it quits via this medium.

“I, Ozo Oswald Dokwe Okam solemnly declare that Ozo Chidi Cham is no longer my son. I will not want him to serve me when I am dead since  he did not serve me in my life time. He should return all my certificate of occupancy and other valuable documents in his possession to me and be satisfied with the things I willed to him in my will. He should no longer act on my behalf whether alive or dead and should henceforth be fully responsible for all his actions and deeds. And above all, he should not participate or interfere in my burial in accordance with the Christian rites.”
