Comedian, Ali Baba speaks The Truth with Olisa Adibua

On this episode of The Truth with Olisa, we have the great honour to host the Legendary Ali Baba- Atunyota Alleluya Akporobomerere. Ali Baba carved a niche for himself as a comedian for both corporate and non-corporate events.

In less than 4 years, he had also become the preferred Master of Ceremony at some events. Ali Baba made the rules, broke them and sometimes even discarded them depending on how effective they were. These days no event is considered complete without a Comedian to MC that event.

23 year-old Nigerian jumps White House fence, gets bitten by dogs

This is coming few weeks, September to be precise after a 43 year-old jumped the White House fence and entered the East-room. A Nigerian named Dominic Adesanya has also been arrested for a similar offence.

Adesanya, a resident of Maryland, United States was attacked and bitten by K.9 dogs after scaling the fence yesterday evening around 7.15 pm. President Barack Obama was reportedly in the White house when the incident occurred. And the whole place had to be locked for two hours.

Adesanya’s father confirmed that he had been arrested at the White House before and that the family had tried to get him help. The Stevenson University graduate is now in police custody and is being treated in a hospital for the injuries he sustained during his encounter with the dogs.

Look who's cut off his signature dreads.

Singer and activist, Adegoke Odukoya, fondly called Ade Bantu has chopped off his signature dreads. His reasons;

“After 23 years I decided it was time to let go and move on. It wasn’t easy but hey the only constant in life is change and sometimes we must embrace it fearlessly”.

Can imagine Daddy Showkey following suit.

FIFA Rankings: Nigeria drops out of top 40 in the world

Oh well, we are going to get there. Nigeria has dropped from the top 40 in the world in October 2014’s FIFA rankings. The giant of Africa was on 37th spot last month but after their loss to Sudan in one of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, they dropped to 42nd. Topping the list is World Cup champions, Germany; Argentina and Colombia come second and third respectively.

Madrid/Liverpool: Brendan Rodgers to deal with Mario Balotelli for swapping shirt with Pepe.

Since when did swapping shirts between players become a big deal? Right? Well, to Brendan Rodgers and many managers out there, it’s not a problem so far it’s done at the end of every game. Liverpool’s Mario Balotelli probably didn’t get that memo.

So, the controversial footballer is going to face the music for swapping shirts with Real Madrid’s Pepe during last night’s Champions League game between both clubs.

A very angered Rodgers vowed to deal with the situation. “We had an incident with a player last year and we did it internally. It is not something I stand for. If you want to do that, you do it at the end of the game. It is something I will deal with tomorrow.”
