Witches declare support for President's administration. Read their statement.

Witches too release statement? *lips sealed*
The White Witches Association of Nigeria, WHIWTAN, have drummed their support for President President Buhari’s administration, chiefly, his fight against corruption and anti-corruption campaign. The decision was taken at the end of an emergency meeting of the association in Ofosu, Edo State.
Below is a statement by the association’s spokesperson, Dr Okhue Iboi, WHIWTAN
“Following our worries over Nigeria, the general assembly of witches decided to hold this meeting. In attendance were witches from all the 36 states of Nigeria including Katsina, the home state of Buhari. It was at the end of this meeting that the unanimous decision was taken that we should support Buhari to fight corruption. There was no dissenting voice – we also took other decisions on some national issues affecting the country. ”
The statement continued.
‘These looters are even lucky that it was Buhari that was going after them to expose and punish them. On our own, we had decided to wage spiritual war against  them, and our own punishment would have been harsher. But but since Buhari has decided to take up the challenge, we have decided to support him. Buhari should not be afraid. I want to assure him that no human force can overcome him,’ he said.

Messi, Suarez fire Barcelona to third Club World Cup victory

An opener from Lionel Messi and a brace from Luis Suarez was enough to seal Barcelona’s Club World Cup title. The Spanish giants defeated River Plate 3-0 today at Yokohama to claim their 3rd global crown.

Ex Liverpool star, Luis Suarez who has been nothing short of exceptional for the team, scoring four braces in all competitions,  this season was awarded the Golden Ball – the best player of the tournament.

He also broke another record today. His two goals took Barcelona’s goal total for the calendar year to 176 as against 175 recoded in 2012.

 “The most important thing was to take the trophy, that was the only objective we had” The Uruguayan said.

Aero Contractors explains why it disembarked passengers with a ladder.

Images of passengers disembarking from Aero Contractors airline at the Bauchi Airport raised Internet ire yesterday (till today). Expectedly, the Internet being an unforgiving place, the company faced a lot of backlash from the world. 
Adducing reasons why it resorted to the use of ladder, the carrier in a statement issued yesterday by its media consultant, SY & T, Aero Contractors said: 
“A special charter flight operated by Aero to Bauchi had problems with unserviceable equipment by the airport management in disembarking about 34 passengers from Abuja. Consequently against the airline’s wish and operation safety guideline, the passengers used a ladder to disembark.”
“Aero wishes to state that it took adequate and safety measures for this operation, including the airport’s ground staff crew to handle the air stairs equipment in Bauchi, unfortunately it became unserviceable at the point of disembarkation.
“Although the airline crew tried to calm down the passengers to wait while the equipment was being fixed, the passengers insisted on their own volition to disembark against all safety protocol of the airline. ”

Bayern confirm Ancelotti will replace Guardiola as coach

Pep Guardiola’s departure from Bayern Munich has been confirmed by the club. He will be replaced by ex Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti. The Spaniard whose 3-year contract
with the German club will expire at the end of the season has won 5 titles (and still counting) for the club.

Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirmed the news on today to Bild newspaper.

“We are thankful to Guardiola for all he gave our club and hope to celebrate more success in the current season,”

Meanwhile 56year-old Ancelotti will sign a three-year contract to take over Bayern this summer.

“With Ancelotti we have another very successful coach coming to Bayern. We are looking forward to working together.” Rummenigge added.

Chelsea appoint Guus Hiddink interim manager. Didier Drogba likely to be his assistant.

Former Netherlands manager, Guus Hiddink has been named Chelsea FC coach. His appointment comes 3 days after former Blues boss, Jose Mourinho was sacked by the club.

Chelsea have also reportedly opened negotiations with ex player, Didier Drogba about becoming Guus Hiddink’s assistant. The duo alongside Chelsea owner,  Roman Abramovich were spotted together at the stands during their clash with Sunderland today.

Meanwhile the team is back to winning ways.  Ivanovic, Pedro & Oscar fired them to 3-1 victory.

I really should stop talking about this guy . lol. But then, how do I stop when his name has remained glued to the trend section on social media. Jose Mourinho was spotted at the stands during the Brighton versus Middlesbrough game today. A week ago, he, no one ever thought he would be in that stadium today.

The prestigious prize is being given by Italian newspaper, Tuttosport to reward exceptional players under the age of 21. Votes are cast by journalists from 30 major newspapers across the continent.
Previous recipients include Wayne Rooney and Anderson in 2004 and 2008 respectively.
