But for President Goodluck Jonathan’s visit to Burkina Faso last week, the new N100 commemorative notes would have been unveiled at the Presidential Villa, Abuja last week Wednesday.
The notes were unveiled by the President today November 12, 2014 during the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting. The ceremony was also witnessed by Vice President Namadi Sambo , Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele.
Emefiele said the design platforms on which the note was made to include security, durability, attractiveness, cultural heritage and transformation.
