KIM KARDASHIAN WINS "MOST-ILL MANNERED PERSON OF 2011" AWARD

For making a private matter public and disrespecting the institution of marriage, the National League of Junior Cotillons have awarded television personality and international model, Kim Kardashian as the “Most Ill-Mannered Person of 2011.”
Kim whose lavish marriage to Kris Humphries’ lasted for 72-day marriage earned her the title.
Kate Middleton, for the poise and dignity with which she conducts herself in the public spotlight was honoured with the Best-Mannered Person of 2011 award, 17 year-old Justin Bieber took the second place for consistently showing courtesy to fans.
 National Director, National League of Junior Cottilons, (NLJC) Elizabeth Anne Winters said that the annual selections are based on the demonstration of dignity, honor, and respect by celebrities.

The Ikeja City Mall launched by Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola threw its doors open to customers/shoppers on December 14.
The mall space accommodates about 100 shops including Shoprite, KFC, Mr. Price, Twice as Nice, Nike, Time-Keeper, Aldo and many more
It also incorporates informal meeting places, a food hall and a five-screen Silverbird cinema.

EPIC MOVIE, 'INALE' HITS NATIONAL THEATRE

‘Inale’, one of the most outstanding epic movies in Nigeria would be available at the National Theatre, Iganmu from 24th December 2011-3rd January 2012 from 12, 3 and 6pm. The movie which won the award for the Best Soundtrack in the recent Best of Nollywood (BON) awards stars Ini Edo, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Dede Mabiaku,Keppy Ekpeyoung, Mbong Amata, Caroline Chikezie and many more.
Produced by award-winning Keke Bongwus and directed by maverick director, Jeta Amata, the film is a folklore told in Otukpo, Benue State with themes on tradition, envy, love and war.

ARSENAL TO DISCOVER ANOTHER KANU IN NIGERIA.



Officials of Arsenal football club have revealed their intentions of searching for ‘another Nwankwo Kanu’ during the pre-season playing tour coming up in Nigerian in 2012.
The retired Super Eagles skipper Kanu Nwankwo who played for the club from 1999-2004 won several major pieces of silverware including two EPL Championship medals with the London club.
Going by what Arsenal marketing chief, Angus Kinnear saw during his short visit in Nigeria, the club could again strike a gold by discovering another Kanu.
“Arsene Wenger will be glad at what is present here. He is a man who does not consider passports but talents and I believe his coming next year would produce another Nwankwo Kanu,” a very impressed Kinnear said after he inspected facilities at the Abuja National Stadium and met with top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation.

Sometime ago, I wrote about Sultry actress, Rita Dominic’s first film ever called ‘The Meeting’, produced by her production company, ‘The Audrey Silver Company’. Above are the behind-the-scene pictures.

Starring Rita Dominic, Femi Jacobs, Nse Ikpe Etim and others, the romantic-drama which would be released by March 2012 follow the travails of Makinde Esho (Femi Jacobs), a Lagos-based telecoms executive, who is in Abuja to meet with the Honourable Minister of Land Resources. His efforts to meet the minister are however being frustrated by the minister’s powerful secretary, Clara (Rita Dominic). He has to meet with the minister in order to save his job, and somehow get back to Lagos in time for the graduation of his daughter. Under pressure, and running out of time.

Nah, anyways, the lanky director whose lead and spectacular role in the epic movie, Sango, shot him into limelight has decided to channel the numerous gifts and freebies he is to receive on his special day into charity.
