ARIK AIRLINE HOSTESS CAUGHT IN THE UK WITH COCAINE
I usually don’t do this on a good day but this took me by surprise and I just had to share it.
A 30 year-old air hostess working for Arik Air, by name Chinwendu Uwakaonyenma Ogbonnaya, was on Sunday 18th December 2011 arrested at Heathrow Airport for concealing and smuggling four kilograms of cocaine into the United Kingdom.
According to The British high commission in Abuja, “She had arrived into Heathrow Terminal 4 having travelled on an Arik Air flight from Lagos in Nigeria, she was charged with attempting to import a class A substance, and appeared before Uxbridge Magistrate court in the UK
Arik airline however has promised to support the British police and the magistrates in the matter even as it regrets that the incident is the first involving its crew.

15-MATCH BAN: "I WILL NOT APPEAL"- SAMUEL ETO'O
Samuel Eto’O |
Samuel Eto’O doesn’t look like someone who could hurt a fly right? Was equally shocked when I read this. Anyways, the Camerounian was accused of instigating the indomitable lions (of Cameroun) to boycot an international friendly match against Algeria in November. And in view of that, the Disciplinary Committee of Cameroun’s Football Federation have decreed that for contravening Articles 8 and 10 of the body which demands compliance with the rule of unalloyed loyalty to Cameroun as far as international duty is concerned, the 30 year-old captain would be banned from participating in 15 international matches.
The world’s highest paid footballer who was however given 10 days to appeal said he has no intention of appealing the decision of his nation’s FA committee.

WORLD'S SHORTEST WOMAN
Seriously, I still don’t get it. The first time I saw this picture, I thought she was a doll but she isn’t. It’s unfortunate I have to save my million and one questions and accept this. (Lol). But seriously how does she sound like? How does she relate with people, what chores/job does she do? Does she have any children? I think I have to rest my case, the answers are not forthcoming. At least she has earned herself a place in the Guinness Book Of Records. Kudos, you are a chick in your own right.

BARCELONA CLAIMS 2011 CLUB WORLD CUP TITLE
Okies! This is like an intro, so happy to write about this, as a huge and consistent barca fan, I’m glad this went to my best club and of course this didn’t come easy, the team worked their butts out to achieve another feat.
Barcelona Football Club has been crowned Club World Cup champions after their 4-0 victory over Santos on 18th december, 2011.
Ballon D’Or winner and Barcelona forward Lionel Messi, launched the scoring spree for the Catalans, before Xavi and Cesc Fabregas added their names to the score sheet.
For his epic and spectacular performance in the match, the quiet Argentine was also awarded the best player for the Club World Cup 2011.
Lanky and handsome Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola, together with some of the footballers dedicated the victory to David Villa who was unavoidably absent owing to an injury and also to Ibrahim Afellay.
In his words, Pep said, “We played a great game of football and people were happy to have seen it. Its great that we won it two times in three years. Winning 13 of 16 times is a huge thing, thanks to the mentality of the players. People will remember that this club won 2 club world clubs, they deserve it. ”
Josep Guardiola’s side lifted their second Club World Cup title, after the 2009 triumph over Argentine side Estudiantes. They also secured a quintuple for 2011, adding the trophy to Champions League, La Liga, European Super Cup and Supercopa triumphs over the course of the year.
