DIDIER DROGBA, NOT LEAVING CHELSEA UNTIL….
Contrary to the rumour making rounds that Ivory coast striker, Didier Drogba is leaving Chelsea for a Chinese league yesterday, the 33 year old Samsung ambassador has declared that he has no intentions of leaving at least before June (when his contract expires).
Drogba who has spent 8 years in the London club was expected to join his teammate Nicholas Anelka in Shanghai Shenhua earlier this month. He also disclosed that he wants to "find again more fun, shivers, fervour, pressure and passion on the field".

VETERAN ACTOR, DAVID IHEZIE IS DEAD
David Ihezie, an Enugu-based Nollywood actor has been snatched by the cold hands of death. The sad incident took place yesterday, 19th January 2012 in his home after a protracted illness.

Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ofiafulugu Mbaka,
confirmed the death of the prolific actor to
bononline.
According to Ofiafulagu Mbaka, Chairman, Enugu State Chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), "Ihezie's death is another
big loss to the entertainment sector and Nigeria as a whole. I was made to understand that he was sick before he finally passed on".

Facebook addicts can now enhance their timeline with applications that will help them tell their story in a more interesting way; whether they love to cook, eat, travel, run, or review movies and also learn others.
The applications include Foodspotting, Foodily, Ticketmaster, Pinterest, Rotten Tomatoes, Pose, Kobo, Gogobot, TripAdvisor and many more.
Each has its own function depending on the interest of the user. There are applications about cooking, eating, films, concerts, books and travelling etc.

FIFA RANKINGS: NIGERIA DROPS TWO PLACES
Going by the 2012 FIFA/Coca Cola World Ranking released recently, Nigeria has dropped from the two places; 43rd position to the 45th while Spain still claims their number 1 spot.
Nigeria now ranks 6th in Africa as against the initial 5th position with Ivory Coast, Ghana, Egypt, Algeria and Senegal ahead.
Other teams which climbed higher in the ranking include Bosnia-Herzegovina (19th, up 1), Panama (47th, up 2), Estonia (52nd, up 5) and Belize (133rd, up 8). Montenegro (50th, up 1) have also returned to the top 50.Source: Channels TV

RICHARD MOFE-DAMIJO SURVIVES AUTO ACCIDENT
Nollywood actor turned Commissioner, Richard Mofe-Damijo has every reason to thank God at this moment.
The 50 year-old Delta state Commissioner for Culture and tourism was involved in a fatal accident in Warri this morning.
According to a source, a car coming from the opposite direction rammed into his Prado jeep. RMD as fondly called is alive and at receiving treatment in the hospital.
