SCOTT PARKER TAGGED ENGLAND PLAYER OF THE YEAR

31year-old Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker after votes by fans have been named England player of the year.
This honour is coming a year that he participated in seven of England’s nine games.
England’s interim Manager, Stuart Pearce has handed the captaincy to the midfielder who culled 17% of the 15,000 votes cast. Joe Hart came second and Ashley Young was third. Speaking on the honour, he revealed that his Denmark (Copenhagen) game which took place about a year ago marked a turning point in his career.
It ended up being a great game for me. From there I played a lot more games. It was a very exciting year for me internationally and I’m looking forward to more action.
“It’s a proud moment every time I pull on the England shirt. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, whenever I was playing outside, whenever I was playing at the park with my mates it was always England you try to emulate and try to be.” He affirmed.

TONTO DIKE CRIES OUT, "I DIDN'T CAUSE A NOLLYWOOD COUPLE'S SEPERATION"

Just got this information from a reliable source.
Nollywood actress, Tonto Dike has debunked the story posted in the current edition of Top Enquirer magazine that she caused the seperation of a Nollywood Couple Doris Simeon and Daniel Ademinokan.
Tonto expressed her disappointment and added that it the writer was being unprofessional as she wasn’t contacted for her own side of the story.
According to her, she has been busy in Owerri, Asaba and Enugu since january and was at no point in and out of abuja this year.
She also revealed that she met Daniel Ademinokan once and that was on the set of Rukky Sanda’s movie.
She however appealed that she doesn’t want to be dragged into uncomplimentary issues.

No one really saw them together after their unexpected engagement staged at JayJay Okocha’s club 10 on Valentines day. (Though after the engagement, the pair left for a chinese restaurant and Annie moved over to his house.)
Anyways, they were recently spotted at the premiere of Ini Edo’s, “I’ll take my chances” movie held at the Silverbird Cinemas on friday february 24, 2012.

How’s Oge Okoye’s role in a yoruba movie going to be like? Keep your fingers crossed.
Ageless and elegant yoruba actress Fathia Balogun has engaged her colleague Oge Okoye (who is known to act in English movies) in her new movie, ‘Street Girls’.
When it comes to acting, needless to say the Bon awards’ best Yoruba actress of the year 2012 knows the ropes. Her last movie ‘Sunmisola Otelemuye’ wasn’t only enthralling, it sold close to a million copies and was even one of the highest selling DVDs of 2011.
‘Street Girls’, which was directed by Abbey lanre and Tope Adebayo was shot late last year In Ilorin. The film stars Femi Adebayo, Aishat Abimbola, Mercy Aigbe, Seun Akindele to mention a few and it was directed by Abbey Lanre and Tope Adebayo.

Speaking on her role in the movie pretty thespian,Oge Oke confessed that her impression of her collegues in the Yoruba sector changed completely after the production of the movie, according to her, they are professional and committed.
The movie which is in the pre production stage at the moment will hit the cinemas this summer before the DVDs are release later in the year.

I posted Fathia’s location pictures sometime ago. Going by these additional pictures, these ladies are certainly going to do and undo. For those who believe men make action films more interesting, you will have a rethink when this comes out. Nice!!!

Bode Coker aka Youngbodzy is a promising, upcoming musician who was born in Kano, Nigeria.
Having developed knack for music at an early age, he composed lots of songs with his classmates in the secondary school, participated in rap competitions and many more.
Despite being an undergraduate of Eastern Mediterranean University, youngbodz participates in competitions, sings as well as collaborates with many artistes in Cyprus.

The official launching of the Boyz Are Not Smiling T-Shirt took place on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Adeola Odeku Street, V.I
Though the colourful tshirts were designed by celebrity designer, Marco Martinez; the brain behind DJ Jimmy Jatt’s snapback caps, the clothing line is an initiative of hotshot rapper, Terry tha rapman.
Guests who streamed the Adeola Odeku venue to grace the occassion include Vector, OD, Mode 9, Pope, Prince Tillaman to mention a few.
Fast-rising magazine crew, Slyk and Distinct were also present at the occassion.

CHOCOLATE CITY SIGNS FIRST FEMALE ARTISTE

Chocolate City, an award-winning entertainment company owned by Audu Maikori and Paul has signed their first ever female artiste.
The label which harbours top artistes like M.I, Jesse Jagz, Iceprince, and Brymo has welcomed their latest member Princess Esindu a.k.a Pryse. The talented rapper who was born and raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State studied media in a UK university; her influences are Jay Z, Drake, Lil Wayne, and M.I.

Energetic and talented Pryse welcomed the opportunity of being featured along-side, award winning Africa’s rapper numero uno, M.I on his upcoming mixtape “Deux Illegaux de Musique – Illegal Music 2”.
She became enlisted in the Chocolate City camp when label owners heard her part in the song “No-tis” (a cover of Jay Z and Kanye West’s Otis).

 Reacting to the honour, she said,”I thank God I’ve come this far, and I’m just happy its finally happened, and I’m ready to put in the work, so let’s go. I’m ready to be a BOI (Bold Original Innovative).”
