AHMED YERIMA'S THE WIVES GOES ON STAGE

 
 
The Performing Arts and Workshop Studios are imploring all ardent lovers of quality stage plays to come watch a new master-piece.
Titled ‘The Wives’ and written by Prof. Ahmed Yerima, the play which will be held at two time intervals i.e 3&6pm will be staged in all the sundays in November at Terra Culture, Lagos.
 
SYNOPSIS
The film tells the gripping story of One man, 3 wives Angela(Dada Omowunmi) Cecelia (Rhoda Albert) and Tobi(Nike Odetola), his sister Auntimi(Temitope Haastrup-Atitebi) and family.
Before his demise, Chief Theophilus Gbadegeshin Olowookere a wealthy polygamist made a decree that his will must be read before his burial.
While his sister and wives are still coming to terms with his death, his brother Baba Ajagbe (Patrick Diabuah), the head of the family seeks to prepare his corpse for the rite of passage to the land of his ancestors and as a requirement for the ritual, the first son of the deceased is to accompany him with praise chants of the family.
They all discover that the first son of the first wife is not the first son of the late Chief Olowookere. The first wife who feels there’s a conspiracy to cheat her son of his inheritance makes efforts to stop them.
The late Chief’s lawyer informs the family of the change in the church funeral programme and to read the last will and Testament. Chief in his will bequeaths all his property to his first son.
Ifa’s quest reveals that Chief engaged his sister in an incestous relationship. Upon giving birth, she was told the child died at child birth meanwhile Chief took him away, took care of the child until he started working for him, the child is Barrister Solomon Akande – The Lawyer!

MEET THE 2012 NEXT MOVIE STAR HOUSEMATES

The best thing that has ever happened to your TV screens! Reputed to be one of the most consistent reality shows in the country. 2FACE ANNOUNCES LATEST ACQUISITION

2face Idibia has announced his latest acquisition; two news houses. He tweeted the news yesterday, "'Just bought me 2 HAVEN homes". He also tweeted a photo of him signing the documents of the house which he bought from real estate consultants, 3INVEST.

His wife, Annie Idibia was also beside herself with joy. 'Thank U father……Awesome God ! We are gratefuL' she tweeted.

Alhough the cost and location of the house was kept under wraps, Haven homes reportedly have houses around Magodo, Banana Island and Lekki.

KERI HILSON LOVES FLAVOUR'S 'ASHAWO'

Not a few were taken aback, when American singer and actress, Keri Hilson tweeted her love for highlife artiste, Flavour Nabania's Ashawo song. She couldn't be bothered about the meaning she just adores the song.

Ermmm! Should will expect a collabo from the two afterwards? Don't say Hell No! Anything is possible. Nigerian music is gaining global grounds remember?

Flavour's head must have gotten 1million times swollen up! It's a plus for him you know.

USHER RAYMOND BIDS $12,000 FOR PUPPY

Rnb singer, Usher Raymond edged out many bidders who wanted to pay for a goldendoodle puppy during a charity auction.

The lanky star paid $12,000 at the Pencils of Promise Charity in New York City; an event held with the support of teen star, Justin Bieber to help raise money and build schools for underprivileged children around the world.
