DAREY ART ALADE'S LOVE: LIKE A MOVIE

R’n’b act, Darey Art-Alade will be treating his fans to a special music performance this Valentine season.

Themed “Love: Like A Movie. ” The concert according to Darey promises to create a lifetime magical experience for fans and other attendees.

Music acts who will be present at the concert include 2Face, P Square, Naeto C, Iceprince, Flavour, 9ice, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Mo’Eazy, Zaina and a host of others.

The event will hold on February 17, 2013 at the Convention Centre of Eko Hotel and Suites Victoria Island, Lagos.

PETER OKOYE AND GIRLFRIEND, LOLA OMOTAYO WELCOME BABY GIRL

And it’s a girl. Equation balanced. Peter Okoye’s girl friend, Lola Omotayo has just delivered a baby girl in San Francisco, US.

Peter tweeted the good news an hour ago, “Thank you Lord! Am the new Dad in town..and She’s so beautiful and adorable.”

Apparently she’s been named Aliona Okoye, he continued, “Welcome to the world. Aliona….God is great. Mother and child are perfectly fine….Thank ”

Their first child, Cameron Okoye is four years old, (would be five this year).

Congratulations to them!

PHOTO: GUINNESS UNVEILS WORLD'S LARGEST JERSEY FOR SUPER EAGLES

This news should make up for our dismal performance yesterday. Guinness Nigeria, as part of its unwavering support for the Super Eagles at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) holding in South Africa, has unveiled the world’s largest jersey.

Made in the colours of the Nigerian national team, the jersey which is believed to be the largest jersey ever with a size 275.5 by 249.9 square meter was unveiled at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos, on Monday, 21st January, 2013.

Commending Guinness Nigeria for the achievement, Dr Abiola Awonuga the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Sports and Youth Development who represented the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, said

“We are pleased to support Guinness Nigeria Plc in their quest to boost the Super Eagles’ dream of lifting the 2013 Nations Cup in South Africa.”

Also, the Guinness Marketing and Innovative Director, Mr. Austin Ofomba believes the jersey will be transmitted to the Eagles. “It’s going to be preserved because it is a big monument for us. We’re going to celebrate this jersey beyond the Nations Cup and I believe Eagles will continue to fly.” He affirmed.

Nigerian International Osaze Odemwingie is so elated, the reason is not far fetched. His wife, Sarah Fallon has just put to bed a baby boy.

The West Bromwich striker couldn’t hide his joy as he took to twitter to share the good news, “Baby Noah was born at 5.30 this morning and he says hi to everyone! Couldn’t wait any longer cos wanted to celebrate his daddy’s goal!”

The couple got married in May 2012.
