"MEMORIES OF MY DARLING WIFE" GOLDIE'S HUSBAND POSTS WEDDING PICTURES ON FACEBOOK

A blogger friend of mine told me about her marriage 2years ago but I didn’t believe. So I’m as surprised as you are. She and her husband kept it away from the public.

They got married in 2005, have a private home in the UK and were planning to have kids this year.

Andrew Harvey during an interview on NET revealed that he spoke to Goldie the day she died. He posted these pictures in her memory. I still don’t know how the Prezzo ‘equation’ came in, however, Andrew has asked him to stay off their family!

PHOTO: ACTRESS FOLUKE DARAMOLA REMARRIES

Talented actress, Foluke Daramola got married today to a socialite cum business associate, Kayode Salako. The low-key traditional wedding which coincides with her birthday took place today at Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos.

Foluke’s first whirlwind marriage to a politician produced two kids, Kayode on the other hand also used to be married. His estranged wife moved out of their matrimonial home some months ago.

"WE COULD NOT MAKE YOU STAY" PREZZO PENS EMOTIONAL TRIBUTE TO THE LATE GOLDIE

As her fans, colleagues and friends continue to express shock over her untimely death, Kenyan rapper and her Big Brother Africa star game colleague with whom she was romantically linked wrote this emotional tribute on his facebook page.

God saw you were getting tired, and a

cure was not meant to be

So he put his arms around you, and

whispered come with me

With tearful eyes we watched you, as

we saw you pass away

Although we love you deeply, we could

not make you stay

Your golden heart stopped beating,

hard working hands at rest

God broke our hearts to prove to us…

He only takes the best

Prezzo I gathered is in Lagos to pay tribute to the deceased singer! Meanwhile the main cause of her death hasn’t been revealed.

KENNIS MUSIC RELEASES STATEMENT ON GOLDIE'S DEATH

It’s been pretty difficult crafting an intro for this particular story, yes people die everyday but Goldie’s death sent millions of shock waves. Here was a person who still replied her Valentine messages on twitter yesterday- hours before she gave up.
Susan Bimpe Harvey popularly called Goldie died few hours after returning from US where she attended the Grammy Awards I gathered complained of severe headache before she collapsed and was rushed to Reddington hospital where she breathed her last.

Kenny Ogungbe, CEO, Kennis Music, the label which Goldie was signed on till her death,  who understandably is still reeling in shock has issued a terse statement regarding this unfortunate incident.

“With a deep sense of loss, we announce the shocking death of our darling music star, Goldie Harvey. Goldie, 31, died on Thursday after she complained of a severe headache shortly after her arrival from the United States where she went to witness the Grammy Award. She was rushed from her Park View, Ikoyi, Lagos residence to her official hospital, Reddington, Victoria Island, Lagos, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival at exactly 7:30pm in the evening.
We consider this period a gloomy moment for us and the entire Nigerian music industry in view of the circumstance in which she passed away; the abundance of talent she exhibited in her short but eventful music career and the various opportunities her trip to the United States of America would have availed her. She is survived by her father, step- mother, brothers and sisters.
We deeply sympathise with her family and fans all over the world and very grateful to all and sundry, especially, the vibrant Nigerian media for their concern and prompt reportage. We shall keep everybody informed as events unfold as we are devastated by the sudden loss.”

The remains of the Ekiti Indigene has been dislodged at the Lekan Ogunsola Memorial House of the Ikeja General Hospital. Friends, colleagues who were spotted at the hospital include Denrele, Kenny and I’d Ogungbe, Uti Nwachukwu, Karen Igho, STV presenter Yvonne ‘Vixen’ Ekwere and a host of others.

May her soul find repose. Amen!
