OSAZE ODEMWINGIE SLAMMED £70,000 FINE

If you're an active twitter user and following Nigerian footballer, Osaze Odemwingie, this news should not come as a surprise to you. One of the West Brom's striker's infamous twitter outbursts has landed him into some 'piece' of trouble.

Osaze's tweets few days ago insinuated that his club is trying to ruin his career and right now, one can be sure he will be sold in the summer. Meanwhile his club has slammed him a £70,000 fine.

"The club is aware of comments made by Peter Odemwingie which will be dealt with internally." A statement from West Brom reads.

Excerpts from his tweets, "If they like they shouldn't even give me 10 mins to play. Threatening to ruin my career? Career I closed already last summer? No harm to me. Want to treat me like an average player. The abuse and praise I get is it average? So get some extra from me too."

It would be recalled that the 31-year old player poured out his mind on that platform when he was not chosen amongst the footballers to play at the AFCON tournament. Shortly after that, he made an

effort to transfer to Queens Park Rangers (QPR) during January's transfer deadline but was turned back at the gate and fined £75,000 for another outburst.

"I am really buzzed to be reppin' for Naija at Comedy Central Presents…Live at Parker's in April! So watch out: the Nigerian invasion has begun!" The elated comedian revealed.

Adducing reasons for choosing the Glo ambassador, Evert Van Der Veer, The Head of Comedy Central, Africa, said "It's been our long-held ambition to include Nigerian comedians and comedy in our programming line-up – and what better way to start than with Basketmouth – the king of Nigerian comedy himself."

The show will be aired exclusively on Comedy Central (DStv Channel 122) on June 14 at 07:55 Nigerian time.

D'BANJ'S SISTER NOW ENGAGED TO COOL FM'S DOTUN

Dotun Ojuolape, a popular On Air Personality with Cool FM finally proposed to D'banj's younger sister, Taiwo Oyebanjo yesterday in SouthAfrica. I remember vividly when this topic (dating or no dating) was broached on twitter, the guy denied it and became edgy at some point. (I don't get, why do some celebs deny true stuffs)

Now that he's proposed, does he still expect people to keep mum about it? Yes, we or some people love privacy but C'mmon its D'banj's sister we are talking about here.lol. Issues like this would always elicit reactions particularly when you're in the spotlight

Here's a previous post on them.
