Bayern Munich Winger, Frank Ribery, Barcelona Forward Lionel Messi and Real Madrid striker, Cristiano Ronaldo have been shortlisted for the 2012/2013 UEFA best player award.

While the french player is making the final three for the first time, Messi and Real Madrid forward Ronaldo have made the list in each of the two previous years.

The winner will be announced in a live poll on August 29 at the Champions League group stage draw in Monaco.
