BBC FEATURE: CLINIC WHERE WOMEN 'RENT' THEIR WOMBS

Surrogacy business is quite booming in India especially in Dr Nanya Patel's clinic situated at rural Gujarat, which houses up to 100 surrogate mothers. Women who carry babies for couples with fertility problems are paid US$8,000 while the doctor gets $28,000.

The (surrogacy) industry believed to be worth over $1billion (£619m) attracts childless couples from all over the world. Couples employ surrogate mothers as nannies and when they are through with all necessary paper work, they separate and take the children back to their respective countries.

The Doctor has several times been accused of running a baby-making factory and exploiting poor women but she doesn't see herself in that light, she considers herself as a feminist who is empowering them to take charge of their lives and improve their future

prospects.

"According to many, I am controversial. There have been allegations of baby selling, baby making factory. The surrogates are doing the physical work agreed and they are being compensated for it." She defended.

OKEY BAKASSI WRITES IN SUPPORT OF JIM IYKE

Jim Iyke's deliverance saga continues. One person who's seriously pissed over

the matter is none other but actor cum comedian Okey Bakassi. He deems it hypocrisy. Read on

"Yesterday was The 53rd Anniversary of Nigeria's 'Independence', I refused to comment or send messages for reasons u and I know. If u are reading this message, u are lucky to be alive. Thank God. I'm fed up with all the noise about my Actor colleague who gained Independence from 'demonic influence ' or 'Deliverance' at Synagogue. I respect him for seeking spiritual help when others are shying away from the reality of their situation.

Even those who are 'Demons' themselves are throwing insults at Jim. Our level of hypocrisy in Nigeria is nauseating. Established 'Sinners' find it convenient to throw stones at those whose stories become public, making it more difficult for people to seek help.

If you have never presented yourself for 'Deliverance' keep quiet because ur not sure of what forces are speaking through you. Congrats Jim for being 'man enough'……

Have a blessed day pals.

RAFA BENITEZ LAUDS ARSENE WENGER

Suddenly everyone is showering praises on Arsenal FC boss, Arsene Wenger, all for the number one spot on EPL? Well, he's not done bad for himself so far, although the season is very young.

Former Chelsea coach, Rafa Benitez has lauded Arsene, infact, the current Napoli coach thinks the latter is the best manager in the Premier League. He also believes Arsenal would go far this season.

"I'm expecting a strong team because I think Arsene Wenger is the best coach in the Premier League. They signed good players, at this point everything going well for them.

He continued, Arsenal have a great manager, Liverpool continue growing, they are doing well. Other top sides are not at their level with new managers at the moment so it will be a question of time to see if five or six teams will be more or less the same."

NIGERIANS&GHANAIANS REACT TO JIM IYKE'S DELIVERANCE (READ)

Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke's deliverance session at Synagogue Church which went viral after it was aired early this week is still a trending topic. It has (expectedly) elicited reactions from certain Nigerians and Ghanaians, some, if not all implied that there's much more to what we saw. Read on.
"This Jim Iyke's deliverance video at the synagogue trending looks too contrived. It's a big embarrassment. Has anyone ever seen demons come out live and speak? Una fit stand Demons? Una carry Nollywood enter church abi? How much did he get paid? I'm just wondering? Make una stop all dis nonsense play?? Haba. Stranger than fiction". – Segun Arinze
"My own view of the Jim iyke Drama is simple, he did a wrong deliverance, Love and Marriage ke, when we all know his real issues are with his bad tempers and unpredictable character. I just hope Nadia won't be there next week to get delivered from a certain Nollywood Demon, see what loss of Glo Endorsement deal has caused." – Seun Oloketuyi, CEO Best of Nollywood.
"Na waah for our actors. Jim Iyke took his acting stunt to the alter. I wonder how much he got paid for this 'movie'. Nevertheless, he's a good actor tho" – Afrocandy"Nollywood and the Nigerian churches really do have a lot in common come to think of it… Bad Scripts, gaudy flashy colours, terrible acting, gullible audiences, celebration of ill gotten wealth, etc"- Patrick Obahiagbon"So, Jim Iyke got 'delivered' of an evil demon in a popular church recently? Mmmmm. Chai! Strange things happen. And after Jim Iyke's deliverance, the 'new' Jim Iyke barked out at his PA about his shoes off his legs? Hmmmm. All I can say is that 'whatever floats your boat, brother'. Better send those poor women you have dated to same church for same. These Nollywood stars and the rush for 'deliverance'. Dem need am sef. God save us Producers from some of the demons we cast. I'm not insulting anyone. I just feel that 'deliverance' issues are personal. Not with cameras and klieg lights. De demon na star? I do think though that Jim was brave to go for deliverance. It is a first step to a total recovery. I wish him well. Honestly, I do".- Charles Novia"So Jim Iyke has been delivered to marry Nadia Buari? What a fraud! Good actor… and is he delivered to marry Nadia. That guy is up to another of his scams
You can fool people not always the time. This one is 100% fake, not forgetting the birth place of 419s. I believe Jim Iyke is up to something, which is either he was paid to appear on T.B Joshua's Emmanuel TV or he is up to a bigger scam and I will tell you about the latter scam.- Ghanaians
