STEPHANIE OKEREKE-LINUS SIGNS NEW ENDORSEMENT DEAL

2013 has been a remarkable year for Nigerian celebrities especially stars from the music and movie industries. For the past few months, over 20 celebrities have signed lucrative partnerships/endorsement deals with top brands; the newest being actress Stephanie Okereke-Linus.

The tall and delectable filmmaker has just been appointed as a brand ambassador for Diva Sanitary pad. Speaking during the a press conference in Lagos, the Kankelon hair ambassador noted, "Divas brand vision in Africa is very straightforward, they want to enable all girls and women of today to lead a quality life and take pride in being a woman just like me. That is why I am so excited about this campaign!"

"WE NEVER CAN TELL WHAT GOD PLANS FOR GENEVIEVE& I" D'BANJ

Why can't these two superstars get married? Or lemme say, why don't they want to get married. I'm one of their one million and one fans who would see them tie the knot. Anyways, there's more to marriage than we feel/see. In an interview with Jayne Augoye of PUNCH, award-winning musician and one of Africa's richest artistes Dapo 'D'banj' Oyebanjo spoke on his relationship with A-list actress, Genevieve Nnaji. They dated, broke up but….apparently he hasn't gotten over her. Don't know if the latter feels that way too.

"Apart from the fact that she is my friend, she has been a part of my success. There is no way you are going to tell my story that Genevieve's name will not come up because she featured in my biggest song of all time, Fall in Love. So if E! True Story comes to Nigeria to interview me, she will definitely be called upon to tell my story." Banga Lee revealed

The self-acclaimed Koko Master continued, "I would love to have Genevieve as my wife.  We never can tell what God plans for us in the future. I have studied her and I realised that anyone that has her as his woman has found himself a treasure. Just like the Bible says, any man who finds a wife, finds a good thing."

In other news, D'banj would be celebrating his 10 years anniversary of his music career next year. Doesn't it feel like he's spent like 15/20 years in the industry? It's called good Success!!!

HUH! SAMUEL ETO'O HAS 400 PHONES BUT CAN'T TEXT?

Samuel Eto'o appears to be an amazing antique collector. 400 phones in one's possession, I can perfectly understand but can't text? I'm definitely taking that with a pinch of salt. And that's exactly what Hereisthecity.com is reporting.

According to the football website, the Chelsea striker has never given/thrown away any mobile phone. Now he has 400 of the devices, what exactly does he do with them? Interestingly, 14 of the phones are active while the remaining 386 are practically 'dead'.

The Cameroonian's former coach, Otto Pfister was once quoted thus, "He can not write a text message or use a laptop. He is not interested in that."

INI EDO AND MERCY JOHNSON RECONCILE ON SET

I gathered from a very reliable source that talented actresses, Ini Edo and Mercy Johnson have not been on talking terms for a long time. And both have managed to keep each other at arms length. Things seem to have changed now. Ini Edo recently paid a surprise visit to a movie set which had Mercy Johnson and Funke Akindele on board, and apparently to put the past behind them, both agreed to take a photograph (well Funke Akindele also joined) I hope this reconciliation is for real.

Nice one!
