These are the top 10 contestants of the ongoing ‘My Big Nigerian Wedding’ contest. As voting enters its fourth week and expectations are high on who will win the N15Million wedding and an exotic honeymoon, contestants are enjoined to gather as many votes as possible to keep them going in the competition. Voting continues on www.mbnwedding.com till December 2nd so this is not the final list. Every contestant still has a good chance of getting more votes and making it to the next stage of the competition so keep the votes coming.

Voting on social media (Facebook, twitter and Instagram) would commence soon to give more couples a better chance of reaching the final stage of the competition. To make the first shortlist of 50 couples, 25 couples with the highest number of votes would be selected from the website, 5 from Facebook, 5 from Twitter and 5 from Instagram. Also, 10 contestants would be chosen by selected Judges of the competition. The Judges selection would not be based on votes at all but on the couple’s stories and other criteria.
Already over 72,000 votes have been counted from over 32,000 registered voters. We are thankful to all visitors who have taken their time out to visit the MBNWedding.com site in the past few weeks and are overwhelmed by the numbers. Over 50,000 visitors and over 450,000 clicks so far have been recorded on the site!
The grand finale of the competition will take place at WED Expo Lagos in March 2014 where the winner will be chosen. Lots of wedding vendors have already taken advantage of this unique opportunity to reach a large number of couples. The series which already has four versions in Argentina, Brazil, Columbia and Turkey will feature an African cast and will be belted across 44 countries in Africa. We have no idea the crop of actors that would be featured in but we trust they would be the best ones.
