YINKA AYEFELE'S BAND MEMBERS DISAPPEAR IN THE US

Nigerian music Legends, Ebenezer Obey and King Sunny Ade faced this same problem in the '70s, infact, at some point, some of their band members were told to swear to an oath, that they will not run away whenever they take them out of the country for engagements. I never knew it still happens.

Acclaimed gospel musician, Yinka Ayefele has asked US authorities via a statement to track down and deport 3 of his band members Ojoyido Adegbenga Ezekiel (Keyboardist), Solomon Olugbenga Motimoke (Vocalist) and Olusola Kayode Isaac (Vocalist) who disappeared after arriving the US for a six-week tour.

According to his Publicist David Ajiboye, "Olusola Kayode Isaac defected at the

LaGuardia Airport, New York on Monday 14th October on his way from Houston with three other members of the band, Ojoyido Adegbenga was said to have

disappeared from the group at the Howard Johnson Inn on Rockaway Boulevard, New York on Tuesday,15th October. The third man Solomon Motimoke (Yatty) left the band while still at Washington DC on 11th October"

DIDIER DROGBA MAKES HISTORY

Ivory Coast/Galatasaray forward, Didier Drogba has emerged the first African player to win the prestigious Golden foot award. MIKE AREMU FOR FESTIVAL OF LIFE CONCERT UK

Multiple award winning musician and renowned saxophonist, Mike Aremu who just successfully rounded up his US tour will be at the centre stage of action this weekend as he performs live at the 2013 Festival Of Life (FOL) in London England.

The highly rated and widely-travelled music star will be on hand to deliver world class music in the 40, 000 capacity hall of Excel Exhibition Centre in London where the Convention will take place on

Friday the 18th of October, 2013.  

The performance will mark Mike’s second

appearance at the event after his first experience in March 2008.

In other news news, come this December 2013 Mike Aremu will be organizing a massive launch party to officially unveil his new double CD album COAT OF MANY COLOURS in Lagos Nigeria. The 16 track double CD album was released earlier in the year 2013 and featured appearances from the likes of M.I, Chidinma, Sasha P, and Wole Awolola.

Coat Of Many Colours is his fourth studio album after his last effort titled UNVEILED in 2006. His first album was Dance in 1999 and followed up by No Shaking in 2002 both released under

Kennis Music imprint. There will also be another spectacular launch in the U.K in May at the famous Jazz venue, London Jazz Cafe.

SNOOP LION CHANGES NAME AGAIN

I'm tempted to say he's confused but I wouldn't spill that. Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr popularly known as Snoop Dogg/ Snoop Lion has changed his name again. His new moniker is Snoopzilla, the name change is part of his new collaborative project, 7 Days Of Funk.

The 42 year-old artiste has joined a new band, Dâm-Funk and their debut album would be released on December 10.

"We're the babies of the Mothership. I've had funk influences in my music my whole career. Dâm-Funk is cold. He's keeping the funk alive and I knew I had to get down with him." He defended.
