KIM KARDASHIAN IS ENGAGED- FOR THE 3RD TIME

After two failed marriages, reality TV star, Kim Kardashian is engaged again and it seems she's walking down the aisle pretty soon. The mother of one got her 15-carat diamond ring last night while celebrating her 33rd birthday. The proposal which was done by Kanye West apparently came as a surprise to Kim, he sought the consent of the Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner.

The singer popped the question in a dramatic way. It came during a surprise

surprise party for her son's mother at AT&T Park in San Francisco in front of friends&family members. There was also a big screen at the field which flashed the words, "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!"

Afterwards, a 50-piece orchestra played Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful," followed by Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and Kanye's "Knock You Down." Fireworks and roman candles exploded into the

sky.

MESSI'S SON IS ALL GROWN UP

How time flies. I remember when his mother had a little delivery delay and Messi got so worked up and had to miss a couple of trainings to be with her at the hospital…Thiago Messi would be a year old nextmonth, looks more like his mother….I think.

AFRICAN VERSION OF DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES SERIES TO HIT THE AIRWAVES IN 2014

Super-exciting news. EbonyLife TV in conjunction with producers of ABC TV series- Desperate Housewives will be airing the African version of Desperate Housewives series. Scheduled to hit the airwaves by 2014, the comedy/drama series will be set&shot in Lagos, one of the locations is Adiva Estates, Lekki.

The series which already has four versions in Argentina, Brazil, Columbia and Turkey will feature an African cast and will be belted across 44 countries in Africa. We have no idea the crop of actors that would be featured in but we trust they would be the best ones.

Speaking more on the project, Mo' Abudu stated, "We are going to make it relevant, number one, by using local talent — talent that our viewers will know and love; two, we are going to work with local stylists, local fashion designers, local interior designers.

She continued, "We are going to give the stories an African flavour. We will localize it, because there's nothing the West has that Africa doesn't have. We love, we fight, we kiss and we make up. We like all the good things in life. There's good and there's evil globally. So all those human interests, those things that appeal to you, believe me, appeal to us also"

And faces at the event include Chimamanda Adichie (the brain behind the book), Onyeka Onwenu, Biyi Bandele, Yewande Sadiku, Dele Momodu, OC Ukeje and many more. And Yes, Don Jazzy, it was really a surprise. Now looking forward to the Nigeria premiere.

FUNKE AKINDELE RIDES BICYCLE FOR ANTI-POLIO CAMPAIGN

Nollywood actress Funke Akindele and some of the Rotary Club members recently rode a bicycle to campaign against polio disease, it would be recalled that the talented actress became an ambassador few months ago, and (apparently) one of her core responsibilities is to raise awareness for polio eradication.
