PHOTOS FROM TOKE MAKINWA&MAJE AYIDA'S WEDDING

Still on Toke Makinwa and Maje Ayida's wedding. Like we mentioned few days ago, the popular OAP and her fitness expert hubby opted for a low-key wedding on 15th January, 2014; a decision which shocked her friends, colleagues and family members.

"It was such an intimate event, I haven't stopped apologising to family and friends who feel slighted that they could not attend.  I really did not wish to keep it a secret, If anything we would have loved to have all our loved ones there with us but this was our registry and  so much had happened between Maje and I in the last 3 months. Plus, it was such a huge surprise, I had no clue. I hate surprises but I must say, this one knocked me out of my elements because i usually suspect something is happening. Hehehehe!  I am not fully over it yet."

NIGERIAN ARMY WARNS CELEBRITIES

I got this from Daily Post Nig, don't know how true it is but it doesn't sound fictitious to me though. The Nigerian Army has reportedly sent a statement to Nigerian celebrities expressing their displeasure over the use of the military gear in their videos, photoshoots and concerts. Citing the likes of Davido, Jesse Jagz, Iyanya, Wizkid, Chidinma and Tekno Miles, the Force stated that the "military camouflage is not meant for the entertainment industry, It is strictly meant for military personnel".

"This is to inform the general public and most especially Nigerian celebrities to abstain from the use and abuse of the Nigerian Military camouflage. Several investigations were carried out and we noticed the camouflage is mostly being used by Nigerian celebrities in music videos, photo-shoots and concerts. In this same videos and photo sessions, Nigerian celebrities like 'Jesse Jags' smokes marijuana while putting on the Nigerian Military camouflage. Henceforth, any civilian found GUILTY of putting on the camouflage irrespective of their social status will be dealt with severely.'

SAY WHAT? HON PATRICK OBAHIAGBON LENDS HIS VOICE ON GAY MARRIAGE BAN IN NIGERIA

Alas oppressionism has befuddled the appendage of the innocent gayous Nigerian. I am overghastedly flabberwhelmed at the current social media crinkum-krankum set ablaze in the furnace gargantuan gaga fully odoriferous and bugabooish in this phase and time. The drama is combustible. The police, our most obliquyous Machiavellian baga-bubu has begun their disdain of molestation. The legal intercontinental ballistic missile unsaphronisationistically unleashed by Mr President has caused a global rejection, commotion, and OBAMA has pooh-poohed his mumbo-jumbo.

Nigeria has maniacally accepted a perfidious hockery-pockery of a legalisationism whilst ignoring the poverty portraits on that bewildered, repugnant, wretched faces of the earth.

This is not terra ferma for me and it is clearly a terra incognito. The discobolus generated by the sola-campus nuances is flawless like the biblical 'MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN'.

Now the country is in a political Bermuda Triangle and if we do not take very urgent and responsible steps to meander the interstices of eschewable cataracts, land mines waterfronts, icebergs and ox bow lakes of the gay ban, the ship of the Nigerian state has all the capacities and possibilities of berthing in the disastrous and pestilential aqua of a terminus aquem.

Ok sir!

PHOTO OF THE DAY: SIR ALEX FERGUSON'S REACTION TO ETO'O'S HAT-TRICK!

Former Manchester United coach, Sir Alex Ferguson reactions as Chelsea's Samuel Eto'o netted in a hat-trick during The Blues' clash with The Red Devils at the Stamford Bridge yesterday. He must have been very pained to the marrow. Watching the once formidable United team go effete and losing most of their matches is quite sad. 2013 BALLON D'OR AWARD: RIBERY IS STILL PAINED, SAYS RONALDO WON NOTHING. (READ HIS QUOTE)

Who hasn’t gotten over the 2013 Ballon d’Or award thing? Everyone in the world except Bayern Munich Star, Franck Ribery and he has decided not to bottle up his feelings. According to him, losing to Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo was robbery and the extension of the voting deadline a political decision.

“I won everything I could win with Bayern and individually. Ronaldo on the other hand did not win anything. I am not sad that I missed out, but it does hurt a bit. I deserved to win the Ballon d’Or. It was clear that Ronaldo would win it. The voting deadline was extended by two weeks. This had never happened before. It wasn’t about football. It was a political decision. There are only three Bayern players in [the FIFPro team of the year]. That’s madness. [Thomas] Muller
deserves to be there, and so do [David] Alaba,[Bastian] Schweinsteiger and [Arjen] Robben. We won five titles and made history. And then there’s the absence of Borussia Dortmund players… Where are [Mario] Gotze and [Robert] Lewandowski? This is impossible”
