JUAN MATA: WENGER THINKS CHELSEA WERE UNFAIR

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has expressed his opinion over Juan Mata’s move from Chelsea to Manchester United. He deems the whole transfer issue typical of The Blue’s tactics especially because Chelsea have played Manchester United twice and have to face other rivals including the Gunners.

“I am surprised because Juan Mata is a great player and Chelsea sell a great player to a direct opponent. It opens again a little bit the opportunity of this

transfer market because Chelsea had already played twice against Man United so they don’t play again. They could have sold him last week but it opens at least the opportunity [to question] the dates of this transfer window.

Some teams have already played twice against one opponent and some others not. I think if you want to respect the fairness for everybody exactly the same, that should not happen. I just think you would want that everybody is on the same level. Chelsea do not make the rules but maybe the rules should be a bit more adapted to more fairness.”

OUTRAGE OVER CHELSEA OWNER, ABRAHAMOVIC'S GIRLFRIEND'S SEAT

This sure looks very offensive. It is offensive. It doesn't only depict racism but slavery. Reactions mostly from blacks have continued to trail this picture posted online few days ago by Dasha Zhukova; girlfriend to Chelsea owner, Abrahamovic. The structure of the chair looks like a black woman being tortured and oppressed. I think this is more than a design.

"MY FAMILY CALLED ME RUBBISH DURING ANDRE VILLAS-BOAS' TENURE" EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR

Togolese international, Emmanuel Adebayor told The Sun the criticisms he was subjected to by his family and friends when his career spiralled downwards during Tottenham boss, Andre Villas-Boas’ reign. The dark-skinned striker was ordered to train with the reserves after his refusal to leave Tottenham during the summer.

The whole story changed after AVB was relieved of his job and a new manager, Tim Sherwood resumed. Not only did he get more playing chances, he also made it to the scoring sheets; netting a total of five goals in his six Premier League games.

“I was right at the bottom of the hole. Even people in my own country, people from my own family, criticised me. It can’t get worse than that. They said, ‘You’re rubbish and whatever you did before in your career was luck.’ But the new coach [Sherwood] trusted me. He gave me the keys to all the doors of the club and said, ‘Do what you want to do and make yourself at home’.”
